Tactile Sensation Data Processing Device Tactile Sensation Providing System And Tactile Sensation Data Processing Method

Abstract: Provided is a tactile sensation data processing device offering good tactile sensation. A tactile sensation data processing device for transmitting or receiving data between a first and a second portable electronic terminal devices via a network includes: a data reception unit that receives first data relating to a tangible object of interest from the first portable electronic terminal device; and a data transmission unit that transmits upon reception of the first data tactile sensation data indicating a tactile sensation for the tangible object of interest corresponding to the first data to the second portable electronic terminal device. The tactile sensation data are data associating an image of the tangible object of interest a position in the image and an amplitude corresponding to the tactile sensation for the tangible object of interest at the position with one another. The data are used for adjusting the amplitude of a drive signal for driving a vibration element for generating an ultrasonic band intrinsic vibration on an operation surface for making an operation input on a touch panel of the second portable electronic terminal device or on a touch panel of a tactile sensation providing device connected to the second portable electronic terminal device on the basis of an amplitude associated in the tactile sensation data with the position in the image corresponding to the position of the operation input.
