TAMPER PROOF PADLOCK FOR SWITCHING DEVICESA padlocking apparatus for safeguarding electrical switching and protective devices from being tampered, said apparatus comprising an integral component(2) capable of self-orientation in distinct positions during normal operation of the switching device, said integral component(2) being placed in juxtaposition with side-walls of operating mechanism cover(18) in the switching device wherein said component comprises ergonomical fork(2) having plurality of walls(10) in parallel relationship with each other and having defined projections(11), knob means(1) operatively engaged with said fork(2) and comprising outward convex surface(3) having projected member in perpendicular relationship to the convex surface(3), inward concave surface(5) opposite to the convex surface(3) comprises predetermined projections(7) adapted to integrate the knob means(1) with the fork(2) and means (20) located on the side walls of the cover(18) adapted to prevent escaping of the knob means(1) from its operative position.
