Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an apparatus for performing trapping on one or more components. The apparatus includes a first tapping station, and a second tapping station operatively configured, through a connecting track, with the first tapping station. The first tapping station is configured to perform a first tapping on the one or more components and the second tapping station is configured to perform a second tapping on the one or more components. A magazine operatively configured with the first tapping station and the second tapping station, and configured to hold the one or more components, and the one or more components are of different dimensions and are sequentially pushed till the first taping station and the second tapping station.

The present disclosure relates to the field of tapping apparatus.
More particularly the present disclosure relates to a tapping apparatus with multi stroking capability.
BACKGROUND

understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the

invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] Conventionally, components are placed on the fixture for tapping
operation and there are high chances of placing them on the fixture accurately since the jobs need to be placed again and again to get them tapped. The component after M3 tapping was done are stored in bins and then moved to another conventional tapping machine for M4 tapping Operation to be carried out. Also, the magazine used are not able to hold the components of different dimensions. Thus, every time tapping is performed, a relevant magazine need to be installed first. Time consumption is more due to single stroke tapping and material movement.
[0004] There is, therefore, a need of an improved tapping apparatus that is
free from above discussed problems.
OBJECTS OF THE PRESENT DISCLOSURE
[0005] Some of the objects of the present disclosure, which at least one
embodiment herein satisfies are as listed herein below.
[0006] It is an object of the present disclosure to provide a tapping
apparatus, which is capable of performing multi stroke tapping.
[0007] It is an object of the present disclosure to provide a tapping
apparatus, which has a magazine capable of holding components of different
dimensions.

[0008] It is an object of the present disclosure to provide a tapping
apparatus, which is time efficient.
[0009] It is an object of the present disclosure to provide a tapping
apparatus, which is cost effective.
[0010] It is an object of the present disclosure to provide a tapping
apparatus, which requires less maintenance cost.
SUMMARY
[0011] The present disclosure relates to the field of tapping apparatus.
More particularly the present disclosure relates to a tapping apparatus with multi
stroking capability.
[0012] An aspect of the present disclosure pertains to an apparatus for
performing trapping on one or more components. The apparatus includes a first
tapping station, and a second tapping station operatively configured, through a
connecting track, with the first tapping station. The first tapping station is
configured to perform a first tapping on the one or more components and the
second tapping station is configured to perform a second tapping on the one or
more components. A magazine operatively configured with the first tapping
station and the second tapping station, and configured to hold the one or more
components, and the one or more components are of different dimensions and are
sequentially pushed till the first taping station and the second tapping station.
[0013] In an aspect, the one or more components may be pushed through a
pneumatic cylinder operatively couple with the magazine.
[0014] In an aspect, the one or more components may comprise a DU400
heater, and DZ1 heater.
[0015] In an aspect, the first tapping may comprise a M3 tapping, and the
second tapping comprise a M4 tapping.
[0016] In an aspect, the apparatus may comprise a stopping cylinder
strategically configured on the connecting track such that the movement of the
one or more components are prohibited to move on the connecting track after a
pre-defined length.

More particularly the present disclosure relates to a tapping apparatus with multi
stroking capability.
[0026] The present disclosure elaborates upon an apparatus for performing
trapping on one or more components. The apparatus includes a first tapping
station, and a second tapping station operatively configured, through a connecting
track, with the first tapping station. The first tapping station is configured to
perform a first tapping on the one or more components and the second tapping
station is configured to perform a second tapping on the one or more components.
A magazine operatively configured with the first tapping station and the second
tapping station, and configured to hold the one or more components, and the one
or more components are of different dimensions and are sequentially pushed till
the first taping station and the second tapping station.
[0027] In an embodiment, the one or more components can be pushed
through a pneumatic cylinder operatively couple with the magazine.
[0028] In an embodiment, the one or more components can comprise a
DU400 heater, and DZ1 heater.

[0034] As illustrated, an apparatus 100 for performing trapping on one or
more components 106 can include a first tapping station 102-1 and a second tapping station 102-2. The second tapping station 102-2 can be operatively configured with the first tapping station 102-1 through a connecting track 104. The connecting track 104 can include a guide way to transfer or move the one or more components 106 between the first tapping station 102-1 and the second tapping station 102- 2. The one or more components 106 can include a DU400 heater, and DZ1 heater and are of different shape and thickness (also referred as dimensions, herein).
[0035] In an embodiment, the first tapping station 102-1 can be configured
to perform a first tapping on the one or more components 106 and the second
tapping station 102-2 can be configured to perform a second tapping on the one or
more components. A magazine 108 can be operatively configured with the first
tapping station 102-1 and the second tapping station 102-2, and can be configured
to hold the one or more components 106. The magazine 108 can be referred to any
holder that is capable of holding the one or more components 106 in a stack. The
magazine 108 can include one or more parallel members (FIG. 1C) that are spaced
apart from each other can are able to hold components of different dimensions.
[0036] In an embodiment, the one or more components 106 are
sequentially pushed till the first taping station 102-1 and the second tapping station 102-2 using a pneumatic cylinder 110 that can be operatively couple with

the magazine 108. The first tapping can include a M3 tapping, and the second
tapping can include a M4 tapping. Further, the apparatus 100 can include a
stopping cylinder 112 that can be strategically configured on the connecting track
such that the movement of the one or more components 106 are prohibited to
move on the connecting track 104 after a pre-defined length.
[0037] The present disclosure pertains to a tapping apparatus with a
magazine that is capable of simultaneously storing or holding compoents of different dimensions without any changeover. Also. The discussed apparatus is capable of performing the different tapping operation simultaneously and in a reduced time. This can save a lot ot efforts and time.

ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION

capable of performing multi stroke tapping.

We Claim:

1. An apparatus for performing trapping on one or more components, the
apparatus comprising:
a first tapping station;
a second tapping station operatively configured, through a connecting track, with the first tapping station, wherein the first tapping station is configured to perform a first tapping on the one or more components and the second tapping station is configured to perform a second tapping on the one or more components; and
a magazine operatively configured with the first tapping station and the second tapping station, and configured to hold the one or more components, wherein the one or more components are of different dimensions and are sequentially pushed till the first taping station and the second tapping station.
2. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more components are pushed through a pneumatic cylinder operatively couple with the magazine.
3. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more components comprises a DU400 heater, and DZ1 heater.
4. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first tapping comprises a M3 tapping, and the second tapping comprise a M4 tapping.
5. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the apparatus comprise a stopping cylinder strategically configured on the connecting track such that the movement of the one or more components are prohibited to move on the connecting track after a pre-defined length.
