Abstract: The present invention discloses the system of team collaboration in construction using augmented reality technology. The all data related to project is inputted to database. Also, the data about of all team involved in construction is inputted to database. The user opens the application of team collaboration system via smart phone or tab or in case of AR smart glass, user just wear smart glass. Focused the AR device on particular built up area. Sensor senses all the parameters of built up area. If any error found, it takes notes and view video of error. And send error data to related team.

1) The team collaboration system in construction using augmented reality technology comprising of;
a. Any AR enabled device such as smart phone or tab or smart glass
b. Databases – contains various data of construction and also data related to all teams involving in construction
c. Backend server- Contains application for team collaboration
2) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, checks the build-up area
3) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, take a note and video view of any error occur in real time construction.
4) The system claimed in claim 3 wherein, send error data to related team.
5) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, on-site team and remote team can coordinate immediately.
, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention relates to the field of computer graphics, and more specifically, to a method and system for team collaboration system in construction using augmented reality technology.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Construction is an industry which employs a wide range of personnel such as managers, designers, plumbers, welders, carpenters, and electricians. A project completed on time and according to the proposed budget is a perfect example of a successful collaboration. But all the workers involved in a project are not always present on a job site. Any errors that arise must wait for all the parties involved to assemble and review blueprints and make any changes.
The present invention provide solution to above problem. With the help of augmented reality technology, the team collaboration system in construction is achieved.
Team collaboration is key to any construction project, but the longer a project goes on, the more important is to build strong working relationships between workers.
Poor collaboration can lead to wasted time, sunk costs, errors, and the need to redo work. Coordination efforts need to go beyond organizing tasks between people and creating a checklist. Workplace should be trustworthy and respectful which ensure a smooth construction process.
Augmented reality technology is very helpful in construction sector. With the help of AR (Augmented Reality) technology construction team can see the real time visualization of building from 2-dimensional drawing.
During the construction process, with the help of AR device, inspection of all work can be done.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is, team collaboration system in construction using augmented reality technology.
Another object of the invention is, AR (augmented reality) enabled devices are needed (such as smart phone with high definition, AR headset).
Another object of the invention is, helps construction teams to inspect all errors regarding building construction at real time.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the team collaboration system in construction using augmented reality technology. The system and method comprising of:
Construction team member, can focused at any build up area. With the help of AR device all information related to that built up area would be shown to team member. If there is any error, then the member takes notes and view video about it. The team member would send these notes and video to remote team related to this error.

The present invention discloses the team collaboration system in construction using augmented reality technology.
The present invention system is comprising of contents such as;
Databases – contains all data of built up area of project with all specification
Any AR enabled device such as smart phone or tab or smart glass
Databases stored data about built up area of project. And it also contains the data about various teams which involved in project.
The present invention implemented in a combination of both hardware and software.
The present invention system is comprising of;
Step 1) The all data is inputted to databases
Step 2) The user opens the application of team collaboration
(or in case of AR smart glass, user just wear smart glass)
Step 3) Focused the AR device on particular built up area
Step 4) AR Device senses all information related to build up area
Step 5) If AR device found any error then it takes notes about it and view video related to it
Step 6) The Team member sent data to remote teams which are related to that error
This is general overview of system. System is not bounded to this only.
Augmented reality device has the ability to inspect the build up area with Augmented Reality device.
AR allows users to take notes and share video views of any errors or design issues in question and send the information to any remote teams in real time. On-site and remote team members are able to consult with each other and work with the information needed, greatly lowering the time and costs needed to make a decision among teams.
By wearing an augmented reality headset, workers would be able to inspect the built components and compare them against the measurements specified in the models. This helps workers find any error in the structures.
Augmented reality (AR) is a type of interactive, reality-based display environment that takes the capabilities of computer-generated display, sound, text and effects to enhance the user's real-world experience.
One project is completed with lots of small teams. If there is any error due to one team, then other team have to wait for error rectification by that particular team. Because each and every team is not available to every time on construction site.
With the present invention the inspection team member can find error. If there is any error then AR device show what is error. And give error report and its video view to inspection team member. Team member send these notes and video to related team. So that team with onsite team can co-ordinate well. Due to this time delay can be avoided. Also, it saves money of project.
Augmented reality technology doesn’t deduce the labour/worker, but it reduces the time required for their conventional method of construction. It helps worker to work smartly.
By the coming year Augmented Reality definitely be major part of construction sector.
