The Process For Preparation Of Pharmaceutical Composition From Tinazoline Hydrochloride And The Product Thereof
Abstract: There is provided a process of preparing 3-(2-Imidazoline-2-ylthio)indole hydrochloride(Tinazoline)by considering indole and ethylene thiourea in alcoholic solvent using iodine and alkali iodide solution.The resulting materialis purified using organic solvent.This material is further treared with alkali and resultant free base which obtained is isolated.Reacting the free base by suspending in alcohol and treating with alcoholic hydrochloric acid to pH around 2;the hydrochloride salt is obtained.This salt is further purified by charcoal treatment and using alcohol as solvent to obtain a crystalline material.
