Using proximity sensors and system, the driver can be made alert about any kind of attempt of theft to the container or cargo on the truck or trailers or cargo train or any other mode of transportation.
The present invention relates to a theft detection and alarm system designed for logistics containers or cargo trucks, which comprises a plurality of proximity sensors, a central control system, an alarm system, a satellite connection, a GPS system, a police information system, and a mobile application. The proximity sensors are installed on all sides of the container or truck to detect any movement of humans or animals that could cause damage or theft of goods from the truck, container, or trailer. These sensors are connected to the central control system located in the driver’s cabin, which monitors the sensor activity and activates the alarm system when unauthorized movement is detected.
The GPS system, connected through the central control system via the satellite connection, enables real-time tracking of the system’s location and sends this location data to the police information system. In case of an emergency or theft attempt, the alarm system is triggered and is also connected to the satellite connection, notifying nearby police for immediate action. Additionally, the mobile application, which is connected to the central control system via the satellite connection, provides real-time updates and notifications regarding the status of the alarm system and sensor activity.
The proximity sensors used in the system are simple motion detection sensors that detect movement around the cargo container or truck, ensuring any theft attempts or unauthorized access are quickly recognized. The satellite connection also facilitates emergency communication with law enforcement, allowing for remote monitoring of the cargo's location and security status. The alarm system can be configured to sound an audible alarm or send a visual signal within the truck or container to alert the driver to a potential security breach.
This system is designed for use in various modes of transportation, including trucks, trailers, and cargo trains, providing enhanced security for goods in transit. By ensuring that real-time data is available to both the driver and law enforcement, the system significantly reduces the response time in the event of an attempted theft or unauthorized access to the cargo.A Theft detection and alarm system for logistics containers/cargo trucks comprising a number of proximity sensors, a central control system, an alarm system, a satellite connection, a GPS system, a police information system, a mobile application, wherein the Proximity sensors installed on all sides of the container or truck to indicate any movement of humans/animals causing damage/theft of goods from the truck/container/trailer and all sensors are connected with the central control system in the driver cabin.
In another embodiment the central control system is used to monitor the movement of sensors; Wherein the GPS system is connected through the central control system via the satellite connection that monitors the real time location of the system and send the information to the police information system.
In another embodiment the alarm system is used to indicate to the driver and In case of emergency to the driver, the alarm system will be connected to the satellite connection to indicate to the police nearby.
In another embodiment the mobile is connect with the central control system of the system via the satellite connection that is used for real time update via notification or the alarm system.
Simple motion detection sensors are installed on the container trucks to inform driver/police and avoid theft to the cargo/container during logistics operations
ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION
1. Quick information to the driver on any kind of movement of humans/animals near the cargo portion of the truck/container
2. Highly useful as the Sensors are integrated to central control system and police information system
3. Cost effective due to simple system construction
4. Easy to integrate with GPS and internet connection through mobile phone connection.
5. Safe guards the driver and cargo container from thefts.
