Abstract: The present invention relates to an automatic three line sealing machine for condom. The machine comprises a three line vibratory bowl feeder, a three line oil dosing mechanism, a three line squeeze mechanism, a three line foil feeding mechanism, a three line online stamping unit and a three line rectangular sealing jaw. The vibratory bowl feeder automatically feeds the condom in the squeezing mechanism where round shape condom is squeezed to oval shape to fit in the three line rectangular sealing jaw. The oil dosing mechanism ensures no physical damage to the product during pushing. The stamping unit comprises two rollers with gears to deliver high quality uniform printing.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention generally relates to a sealing machine and more particularly relates to a . three line automatic sealing machine for sealing condom in rectangular shape.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Economy packing of condom is highly necessary for the condom manufacturing process. Speed is required for the same machine to handle more quantity of products and to increase productivity. Initially, manual intervention is required in the process of packaging that might lead to accidents. Productivity of single line packing machine earlier used was low and hence took a long time.to meet the requirements. The machine required manual feeding, which led to occasional accidents. In conventional machines, pre-printed foils are being used for foiling and cam actuated oil dosing is used with plunging mechanism.
In modern machines, highly expensive digital servo controlled traveler units are being used for the purpose of foil and pneumatic actuated dosing with rubber seal pistons are being used. Foil feeding is controlled by a servomotor with complicated control system and sensors. There is a need for system that overcomes above limitation.
Indian patent application number 2069/CHE/2007 to V.G Rajput entitled "Double Track Automatic Condom Packing Machine" relates to an automatic condom packing machine using a vibratory feeder and a double line squeeze type channel. The packing machine comprises two press jaws for sealing and packing condoms and silicon oil is dosed inside the condom while packing.
Korean document 101342586 to Shin Moo Ho entitled "Condoms, condom automatic packing machine automatic alignment of the transfer device" relates to an automatic rubber (condom) packing machine. The packing machine comprises a rubber arrangement transfer apparatus to transfer the rubber from a feed chute through a rectilinear track line in a conveyor means using a vibration and sealing apparatus to pack the rubber transferred by a transfer apparatus.
Chinese document 202743519 to xu weidong entitled "Full-automatic high speed condom packaging equipment" relates to a high speed automatic condom packing equipment. The packing equipment comprises a linear feed tray having four conveying paths contacting with an automatic feeding device, a pressing roller used for sealing and packing condom and a rotating dosing unit.
United States application number 20110030697 to Robert Beau Thompson entitled "Manufacture, testing, assembly, packaging, sale and method of use of condom with integrated applicator" relates to the process for manufacture, testing, assembly, packaging of a condom with an integrated applicator. A packing machine includes a drive belt which carries condom in a rectangular path. The condom is mechanically sealed in a wrapper and edge printer prints a product lot number and other identifying data on an edge of a web.
Chinese document 203667043 to Li zebin entitled "Full-automatic condom packaging machine" relates to an automatic condom packaging machine. The condom packaging machine comprises a shaking feeding device which automatically feeds a condom and sealing membrane device for sealing condom.
Chinese document 202201196 to Hejing Quan et al entitled "Full-automatic condom packaging machine with directional shaking feeding device" relates to an automatic condom feeding and packing machine in which a shaking feeding device is used to automatically feed condoms.
Chinese document 102887237 to Chen Zhiqin et al entitled "Fully-automatic condom packaging machine with vibration-oriented feeding device" relates to an automatic condom feeding and packaging machine in which a vibration oriented feeding device is used to automatically feed condoms.
Existing system in the prior art discuss about automatic packing of condom. However, the above mentioned prior art does not provide a much higher productivity with better quality. Therefore the present system provides a machine that automatically seals the condom with
better quality and high speed by means of three line automatic feeder that feeds 85x3 pcs/min continuously without empty gap, three line squeeze mechanism, power free mechanical online stamping unit and foil feeding unit.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
The objective of the present invention is to design a machine for automatic sealing of condom with increased productivity with better quality at low cost.
The machine consists of a vibratory bowl feeder, a three line oil dosing mechanism, a three line squeeze mechanism, a three line foil feeding mechanism, an online stamping unit in three line, a three line pulling mechanism, a three line rectangular sealing jaw, a three line pulling mechanism, a counter, a cutting feature, a temperature controller and a panel board. The machine is provided with an auto loader system. The auto feeder and dispenser are integrated together.
According to the present invention, the high speed vibratory bowl feeder automatically feeds the condom in the range of 85x3 pcs/min. The condom is squeezed from round shape to oval shape to suit in a rectangular pack by the squeeze mechanism. The oil dosing mechanism ensures no physical damage to the product, during squeezing mechanism. Three line pneumatic operated silicon oil dosing mechanism is employed to ensure accuracy while dosing. The three line rectangular sealing jaw seals the condom using the paper top foil. A counter is used to register the number of packages dispensed. The cutting feature is provided to determine the number of condoms per strip. The temperature controller is provided to limit the temperature of top and bottom rotating jaws. The cutting blade adjuster is integrated, so that chances of accidents are avoided.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
Aspects of the present invention described herein, discloses a machine for automatic three line rectangular sealing of condom. The features of the invention will be more readily
understood from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the
accompanying drawings.
According to the present invention, the machine consists of a vibratory bowl feeder (1), a three line oil dosing mechanism, a three line squeeze mechanism, a three line foil feeding mechanism, a three line online stamping unit (11), a three line rectangular sealing jaw (4), a pulling mechanism, a counter, a cutting feature, a temperature controller and a panel board. The machine is provided with an auto loader system. The auto feeder (1) and dispenser are integrated together.
The automatic vibratory feeder (1) is developed in the speed at the rate of 85x3 pcs/min with increased productivity. The automatic feeder (1) is able to continuously feed condom automatically without empty gap.
Referring to Fig.3, the oil dosing mechanism (3) includes oil ejection nozzles (7), dozing pump (2) and a tube from dosing pump (6). The dosing mechanism (3) includes a metallic piston arrangement with NRV on both suction and delivery side. The oil ejection nozzles (7) have roughened inner bore to get better control over the drop formation during dozing, that keeps the oil quantity bare minimum.
The three line squeezing mechanism is provided for squeezing the condom from round shape to oval shape to suit in the rectangular pack. The nozzle (7) is used for both forming and dozing at a desired point in the rolled condom.
The three line foil stamping unit (11) includes two rollers (9) & (10) with gears that provide high quality uniform printing. The two rollers (9) & (10) are power free and completely mechanical. One set of gears is used for getting the accuracy and consistency of printing.
The three line rectangular sealing jaw gear and chain drive reduces noise and possesses the ability to seal 4 packets in a line.
A counter is provided to register the number of packages dispensed. The cutting feature is provided to determine the number of condoms per strip. The temperature controller is provided to limit the temperature of top and bottom rotating jaws. The cutting blade adjuster is integrated, so that chances of accidents are avoided.
In the detailed description of the present invention, Condoms are fed in the automatic vibratory feeder (1) moves in a rectilinear track line to squeezing mechanism. The squeezing mechanism forms a round shaped condom into an oval shaped condom. The oil dosing mechanism (3) ensures no physical damage to the product during pushing and ensures no missing and thereby reducing the chances of doubling during squeezing and pushing. High precision pneumatic actuated silicon oil dosing mechanism is used for maintaining accuracy and the electro pneumatically controlled precision dosing helps to excess silicon oil consumption while foil packing. The oval shaped condom is automatically packed by the three line rectangular format sealing jaw. Due to minimum backlash and adopted metallurgy, considerable noise reduction is obtained. Three line pulling mechanism (5) pulls out the three line sealed rectangular condom. The sealed condom is subjected to water leakage checking testing and package seal integrity failure testing.
The advantages of the system includes: (a) high productivity; (b) power saving; (c) work force fully utilized; (d) Quality of operation is improved as automatic feeding of the condom controls monitoring of operation; and (e) Strict compliance to WHO GMP standards due to low human intervention.
WE CLAIM:
1. An automatic three line sealing machine for condom comprising:
(a) Vibratory bowl feeder (1); wherein said feeder (1) automatically feeds condom without empty gap;
(b) Three line Dosing mechanism (3) provided with a metallic piston arrangement with NRV on both suction and delivery side comprises oil ejection nozzles (7), dozing pump (2) and tube from dosing pump (6); wherein said oil ejection nozzles (7) have roughened inner bore;
(c) Three line online foil stamping unit (11) comprising two rollers provided with gear; wherein said gear is used to maintain accuracy and consistency of printing.
(d) Three line foil feeding mechanism; wherein said foil feeding mechanism is purely a mechanical system with no breakdown;
(e) Three line rectangular sealing jaw (4) comprising gear and chain drive; wherein said jaw (4) has the ability seal four packets in a line;
(f) Three line pulling mechanism (5);
(g) Counter; wherein said counter is utilized to count number of packages;
(h) Cutting feature; wherein said cutting feature is provided to determine the number of condoms per strip;
(i) Temperature controller: wherein said temperature controller is provided to limit the temperature;
(j) Auto loader; and
(k) Dispenser; wherein said feeder (1) and said dispenser are integrated.
2. A machine according to claim 01, wherein said oil ejection nozzles (7) is provided for dosing oil in said condom.
3. A machine according to claim 01, wherein said oil ejection nozzles (7) is provided for forming round shaped condom to a rectangular shape.
4. A machine according to claim 01, wherein said dosing mechanism is pneumatically actuated.
5. A method for sealing condom automatically comprising steps of:
(a) Feeding said condom in the vibratory bowl feeder (1) and automatically moved about a three line track;
(b) Dozing at a desired point in the said rolled condom using an oil ejecting nozzle
(7);
(c) Forming said rolled condom into a rectangular shape by using said oil ejecting nozzle (7);
(d) Feeding of foil reels via top paper roll (9) and bottom roll (10);
(e) Sealing said rectangular shaped condom by a three line rectangular sealing jaw (4).
