Field of the invention:
The present invention generally relates to a semi-automatic washing machine with three tubs provision and a front storage facility, wherein two tubs, having different volumes, are provisioned with washing/rinsing functions and third tub is for spinning/drying function. Said semi-automatic washing machine is characterized in washing clothes, may be simultaneously, in two separate tubs selectively, mainly towards ensuring more hygiene during washing process, selecting different washing media (hot/cold water or variable concentrations therein), consuming minimum water and electricity in the washing process.
Background and object of the invention:
Conventionally most commonly used washing machines are Semi Automatic Washing Machines. It’s partially automatic, so it requires some manual efforts too. The user has to add water before washing clothes & drain it once wash cycle gets over. Semi-automatic washing machines are always top loading, and have two separate tubs – for washing and drying/spinning. Almost all models of semi-automatic washing machines can be moved easily.
With improving life-style and concerns about health, hygiene and resource (like electricity, water, time etc.), consumers are always looking for such washing machine which functions more effectively, have simple functions towards low maintenance, and involves least initial as well as operational costs. At the same, the users look for more and more options in the washing machine towards best possible utilization of the machine with respect to their individual needs and choices.
For an example, one user may require to wash and dry cloths of her three months old baby very frequently. Therefore, she might not be utilizing a conventional washing machine with two tubs very effectively due to larger size of the washing tub, which requires enough water and detergents, involving multiple rinsing cycles and more consumption of electricity therein. Washing of baby’s cloths also require proper washing separately in hygienic conditions, wherein user ideally wishes to avoid washing such cloths with the cloths of other family members.
In another example, the user wishes to wash the undergarments separately in the conventional two-tub washing machine, for which the user has to run the washing tub separately. Two-tub semi-automatic washing machine does not provide any customized option for soaking the undergarments separately within the washing machine and thereafter washing it separately and simultaneously with other cloths. Thus such separate washing requires more consumption of water, time, electricity and efforts of the user.
The present invention is intended to provide a novel semi-automatic washing machine, comprising of two washing tubs and one drying tub, which not only has more functional and advantageous features, but it also removes several limitations of the conventional two-tub semi-automatic washing machines, particularly with regard to increasing needs of the user towards ensuring better hygiene and resource management.
