Abstract: The invention provides a threshing apparatus of excellent processing capability, which can perform a sufficient threshing process on a threshing material without increasing a load of the threshing process even when the threshing material is fed in a large quantity. This threshing apparatus has a threshing cylinder 16 rotatable about a support shaft 15 for threshing reaped grain culms fed into a threshing chamber 14. The threshing cylinder 16 includes a plurality of rod members 47 extending along the support shaft 15 and arranged at predetermined intervals circumferentially of the threshing cylinder 16, support members 44, 46 mounted on front and rear portions of the support shaft 15 for supporting the rod members 47, and a plurality of threshing teeth 48 arranged at predetermined intervals in a fore and aft direction on each of the rod members 47, and projecting from each rod member 47 outwardly of the threshing cylinder 16. 1. A threshing apparatus mounted on a whole-culm charging type combine, said threshing apparatus comprising a threshing drum for effecting a threshing process on harvested culms which are fed into a threshing chamber, by rotating the threshing drum about a support shaft thereof; the threshing drum including: a plurality of threshing drum frames which are arranged in a peripheral direction of the threshing drum at predetermined intervals, with orientation extending along the support shaft; support plates mounted on the support shaft at forward and rearward positions thereof for supporting the threshing drum frames; and a plurality of threshing teeth aligned in a fore/aft direction in a posture projecting outwardly of the threshing drum from the threshing drum frame associated therewith; characterized in that each of said threshing drum frames is formed of a steel pipe member; and each of said threshing drum frames has a plurality of attaching holes defined therein; and each of said attached holes inserts one of the threshing teeth to support the threshing tooth by the threshing drum frame at two positions located on a radially inner side and a radially outer side of the threshing drum.
2. The threshing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said attaching hole extends through said threshing drum frame.
3. The threshing apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, wherein said threshing tooth is welded and fixed to said threshing drum frame.
4. The threshing apparatus according to claim 3, wherein said threshing tooth is welded to said threshing drum frame on the radially inner side of the threshing drum.
5. The threshing apparatus according to claim 4, wherein a leading end of said threshing tooth extends through said attaching hole and projected from the radially inner side of the threshing drum, and the projected leading end is welded and fixed to said threshing drum frame on the radially inner side of the threshing drum.
6. The threshing apparatus according to any one of claims 3-5, wherein said threshing tooth is welded to said threshing drum frame on the radially outer side of the threshing drum.
7. The threshing apparatus according to any one of claims 1-6, wherein said threshing tooth is formed of a stepless round steel bar member.
8. The threshing apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, wherein said threshing tooth is detachably fixed to said threshing drum frame by a nut.
9. The threshing apparatus according to claim 8, wherein said threshing tooth is formed of a stepped round steel bar member.
10. The threshing apparatus according to any one of claims 1-9, wherein said threshing tooth has a centerline thereof located on a line passing the center of the support shaft and the center of the threshing drum frame.
11. The threshing apparatus according to any one of claims 1-10, wherein said threshing tooth is provided on said threshing drum frame under a posture projecting cantilever-wise outwardly of the threshing drum.
12. The threshing apparatus according to any one of claims 1-11, wherein said plurality of threshing teeth are arranged on one of the threshing drum frames associated therewith by a predetermined pitch in a longitudinal direction of said threshing drum.
13. The threshing apparatus according to claim 12, wherein between two said threshing drum frames arranged adjacent to each other in a rotational direction of the threshing drum, the threshing teeth are mounted on one of the threshing drum frames with half-pitch displacement in the fore/aft direction relative to the threshing teeth on the other threshing drum frame.
14. The threshing apparatus according to any one of claims 1-13, wherein the threshing drum defines an inner space within the threshing drum in communication with the threshing chamber; and the threshing drum includes a further support plate for dividing the inner space fore and aft.
15. The threshing apparatus according to claim 14, wherein while stirring a threshing material present around the threshing drum and a threshing material introduced into the inner space, a threshing operation is effected to the threshing materials, with impacting actions on the materials by the threshing drum frames and the threshing teeth.
16. The threshing apparatus according to any one of claims 1-15, wherein a threshing processing section of the threshing drum includes a first plate acting as the support plate mounted in unison with the support shaft at the forward position of the support shaft, a third plate acting as the support plate mounted in unison with the support shaft at the rearward position of the support shaft, and a second plate mounted in unison with the support shaft at a fore/aft intermediate position of the support shaft.
17. A whole-culm charging type combine mounting the threshing apparatus according to any one of claims 1-16.
WE CLAIM:
1. A threshing apparatus mounted on a whole-culm charging type combine, said
threshing apparatus comprising a threshing drum for effecting a threshing process on
harvested culms which are fed into a threshing chamber, by rotating the threshing drum
about a support shaft thereof;
the threshing drum including: a plurality of threshing drum frames which are arranged in a peripheral direction of the threshing drum at predetermined intervals, with orientation extending along the support shaft; support plates mounted on the support shaft at forward and rearward positions thereof for supporting the threshing drum frames; and a plurality of threshing teeth aligned in a fore/aft direction in a posture projecting outwardly of the threshing drum from the threshing drum frame associated therewith;
characterized in that each of said threshing drum frames is formed of a steel pipe member; and
each of said threshing drum frames has a plurality of attaching holes defined therein; and each of said attached holes inserts one of the threshing teeth to support the threshing tooth by the threshing drum frame at two positions located on a radially inner side and a radially outer side of the threshing drum.
2. The threshing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein
said attaching hole extends through said threshing drum frame.
3. The threshing apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, wherein
said threshing tooth is welded and fixed to said threshing drum frame.
4. The threshing apparatus according to claim 3, wherein
said threshing tooth is welded to said threshing drum frame on the radially inner side of the threshing drum.
5. The threshing apparatus according to claim 4, wherein
a leading end of said threshing tooth extends through said attaching hole and projected from the radially inner side of the threshing drum, and the projected leading end is
welded and fixed to said threshing drum frame on the radially inner side of the threshing drum.
6. The threshing apparatus according to any one of claims 3-5, wherein
said threshing tooth is welded to said threshing drum frame on the radially outer side of the threshing drum.
7. The threshing apparatus according to any one of claims 1-6, wherein said threshing tooth is formed of a stepless round steel bar member.
8. The threshing apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, wherein
said threshing tooth is detachably fixed to said threshing drum frame by a nut.
9. The threshing apparatus according to claim 8, wherein
said threshing tooth is formed of a stepped round steel bar member.
10. The threshing apparatus according to any one of claims 1-9, wherein
said threshing tooth has a centerline thereof located on a line passing the center of the support shaft and the center of the threshing drum frame.
11. The threshing apparatus according to any one of claims 1-10, wherein
said threshing tooth is provided on said threshing drum frame under a posture projecting cantilever-wise outwardly of the threshing drum.
12. The threshing apparatus according to any one of claims 1-11, wherein
said plurality of threshing teeth are arranged on one of the threshing drum frames associated therewith by a predetermined pitch in a longitudinal direction of said threshing drum.
13. The threshing apparatus according to claim 12, wherein
between two said threshing drum frames arranged adjacent to each other in a rotational direction of the threshing drum, the threshing teeth are mounted on one of the
threshing drum frames with half-pitch displacement in the fore/aft direction relative to the threshing teeth on the other threshing drum frame.
14. The threshing apparatus according to any one of claims 1-13, wherein
the threshing drum defines an inner space within the threshing drum in communication with the threshing chamber; and
the threshing drum includes a further support plate for dividing the inner space fore and aft.
15. The threshing apparatus according to claim 14, wherein
while stirring a threshing material present around the threshing drum and a threshing material introduced into the inner space, a threshing operation is effected to the threshing materials, with impacting actions on the materials by the threshing drum frames and the threshing teeth.
16. The threshing apparatus according to any one of claims 1-15, wherein
a threshing processing section of the threshing drum includes a first plate acting as the support plate mounted in unison with the support shaft at the forward position of the support shaft, a third plate acting as the support plate mounted in unison with the support shaft at the rearward position of the support shaft, and a second plate mounted in unison with the support shaft at a fore/aft intermediate position of the support shaft.
17. A whole-culm charging type combine mounting the threshing apparatus according
to any one of claims 1-16.
