The following specification describes the invention and the manner in which it is
performed.

TECHNICAL FIELD
The present disclosure generally relates to automobiles, and more particularly, to tipper
vehicles and a load body thereof.
BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE
Tipper vehicles, also known as dump trucks, or dumper truck, tipper and the like, are vehicles utilized for transporting material, such as agricultural products, sand, gravel, dirt etc, from one location to another. As opposed to a conventional truck which has a fixed bed, the tipper vehicles employ a tiltable bed. The tiltable bed is hingedly mounted on the chassis of the vehicle. The tiltable bed is adapted to carry the material, also known as the payload. A hydraulic mechanism provided between the tiltable bed and the vehicle chassis causes to the tiltable bed to rise, thereby unloading the materials carried therein.
OBJECTS OF THE DISCLOSURE
The objective of disclosure is to provide a reliable, cost effective, and simple tipper
vehicles that overcomes or obviates the disadvantages associated with the prior art.
Another objective of disclosure is to provide a reliable, cost effective, and simple tilting
mechanism for a vehicles, that overcomes or obviates the disadvantages associated with
the prior art.
Another objective of the disclosure is to provide a tipper vehicle that is adapted to be
tilted both on a lateral side (i.e. right or left side) and a rear side of the vehicle.
Yet another objective of the disclosure is to provide tilting mechanism for vehicles,
which enables tilting movement of a load both tilted both on a lateral side (i.e. right or
left side) and a rear side of the vehicle.

FIG. I through FIG. 9 illustrates perspective views of a vehicle 10 having a load body 100. The vehicle 10 may be a tipper vehicle, a pickup vehicle, a light commercial vehicle or any other vehicle which is adapted to hold the load body 100. The load body 100 may be configured to carry load, such as but not limited to such as agricultural products, sand, gravel, dirt etc.
A chassis member 102 carries the load body 100. The chassis member 102 includes a front portion, and a rear portion longitudinally opposite to the front portion. A set of wheels support the chassis member 102 on a ground surface. At least one extendable member 104 is hingedly connected to the load body and the chassis member. The extendable member 104 is adapted to be operated to cause a tilting movement of the load body 100 with respect to the chassis member 102. The extendable member 104 may be a hydraulic cylinder or a pneumatic cylinder.

A first connection mechanism 106 connects the load body 100 with the chassis member 102. The first connection mechanism 106 selectively enables side tilting movement of the load body 100 with respect to the chassis member 102 with operation of the extendable member. A second connection mechanism 108 also connects the load body 100 with the chassis member 102. The second connection mechanism 102 selectively enables rear tilting movement of the load body 100 respect to the chassis member 102 with operation of the extendable member 104.

Such universal joint (110) is optionally provided at a right hand rear corner or left hand rear corner of the chassis member 102 depending upon the orientation of side tilting of the load body (100).
As best shown in figures, the first connection member 106 comprises a first hydraulic pivot-lock carried by a longitudinal member of the chassis member 102, and a first hydraulic pivot extending from the load body 100. The first hydraulic pivot-lock is adapted to be hydraulically actuated to get selectively locked and unlocked with the first connection member 106 thereby selectively enabling and precluding the side tilting movement of the load body 100 with respect to the chassis member 102. The second connection member 108 comprises a second hydraulic pivot-lock carried by a rear end portion of the longitudinal member of the chassis member, and a second hydraulic pivot-lock lockable with the second connection member 108 extending from the load body 100.
The second hydraulic pivot-lock is adapted to be hydraulically actuated to get selectively locked and unlocked with the second hydraulic pivot of second connection member 108 thereby selectively enabling and precluding the rear tilting movement of the load body with respect to the chassis member 102.
During the side tilting movement of the load body 100, the load body 100 moves with respect to the chassis member 102 about the first connection mechanism 106 and the universal joint mechanism (110). Whereas, during the rear tilting movement of the load

body 100, the load body 100 moves with respect to the chassis member about the second connection mechanism 108 and the universal joint mechanism (110). In another embodiment, the present disclosure discloses a tilting mechanism 200 for a vehicle 10. The tilting mechanism 200 is for the vehicle that has a load body 100 carried by a chassis member 102. The tilting mechanism 200 includes an extendable member hingedly connected to the load body 100 and the chassis member 102. The extendable member is adapted to be operated to cause a tilting movement of the load body 100 with respect to the chassis member.
