, Description:ORCHARD HARVESTER HAVING HIGH STABILITY AND A METHOD THEREOF
FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention relates to farm vehicles. In particular the present invention relates to the orchard harvester having high stability by adjusting the track width and interchanging the wheel assemblies.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Orchard harvester is a farm vehicle used for fruit harvesting, pruning, spraying, and tree cutting operations. The orchard harvester is a three wheeled vehicle having hydrostatic transmission to have good drive-ability and controllability, the elevating boom assembly allows you to reach the required height for performing agricultural operations. Vehicle stability acts as an important parameter for the performance of the orchard harvester. For different terrain, stability condition required for the orchard harvester vehicle is different, like for a specific terrain orchard harvester's ground clearance and track width should be high. Similarly, for certain terrain, harvester vehicle ground clearance should be low and track width should be high. Presently there is no orchard harvester vehicle is having advantage of adjustable track width with interchangeable wheel assemblies.
EP2388153 discloses a vehicle having variable track width comprising a front axle with a pair of front wheels having a track width adjustable between a wide track and a narrow track. A rear axle with a rear wheel, track width control means configured to change the track width of the front wheels and steering means configured to control the turn of the rear wheel of the rear axle which is the drive axle of the vehicle.
WO2002100160 provides an inclinable all wheel drive vehicle with self-leveling chassis and self-locking mechanism in motion or at rest, on level or laterally pitched ground. The vehicle has front and rear axle frames independently pivoted about a horizontal central chassis. An automatic tilt sensor controls hydraulics or motor to maintain vehicle's cabin level.
CN20152280599 relates to an auto wheel's adjustable track structure, it includes: frame and the wheel group having a revolver and right side wheel, two pivots cup jointed through the transmission cover, pivot promptly keeps relatively fixed with the transmission cover on circumference running direction, and transmission cover realization axial direction's removal can be followed in pivot at that time, just so can adjust the interval between two wheels to the change of adaptation track width.
DE3534626 discloses a hydraulic excavator with adjustable track-laying gear having a chassis which has adjustable track-laying units in order to adjust the track width. The track-laying units are connected to the lower carriage via parallelogram-forming pairs of link arms, which are pivoted about horizontal axes, as simple adjusting and driving means for changing the travel gear between a widened operating position and a narrower transport position. In the approximately horizontal position of the link arms, the track-laying units are furthest away from the lower carriage and are secured by stop and locking means. In order to reduce the track width, the locking is released so that, as a result of the swivelling movement of the link arms, the lower carriage is simultaneously lowered with respect to the track-laying units and the track-laying units move closer to the lower carriage.
