Totally Enclosed Main Electric Motor
Abstract: A rotor shaft (24) is formed hollow from an anti drive side end surface to short of the base end of a main plate (40a) of a cooling fan (40). A ventilation hole (24c) communicating with a hollow portion (24b) is provided in the side surface of the rotor shaft (24). A labyrinth (41) is also provided between an anti drive side end portion (40d) of the main plate (40a) and a bracket (11). Cooling air is taken in from said end surface by the rotation of the cooling fan (40) passes through the hollow portion (24b) passes through a ventilation path constituted by the main plate (40a) and a bearing portion (51) via the ventilation hole (24c) and is discharged through an outlet (12) provided in the bracket (11).
