Transparent Thermoplastic Resin Composition And Article Molded Thereof

Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of providing a transparent thermoplastic resin composition that has superior impact resistance and fluidity, has both a high level of transparency and good color, and has good mold contamination properties. The gist of the present invention is a transparent thermoplastic resin composition containing 15-40 ppm polydimethylsiloxane rubber (C), having a weight-average molecular weight of 300,000 or greater, per 100 parts by mass of the transparent thermoplastic resin composition, said composition comprising: 10-60 parts by mass of a graft copolymer (A) obtained by graft-copolymerizing, in the presence of a rubbery polymer (r), a monomer mixture (a) containing at least an aromatic vinyl monomer (a1) and a (meth)acrylate ester monomer (a2); and 40-90 parts by mass of a vinyl copolymer (B) obtained by copolymerizing a monomer mixture (b) containing at least an aromatic vinyl monomer (b1), a (meth)acrylate ester monomer (b2), and a cyanated vinyl monomer (b3).
