Distributor Tray For A Gas And A Liquid, Reactor Comprising Such Tray And Its Utilization
Abstract: The invention relates to a tray (1) for distributing a gas and a liquid circulating concurrently including a plate (10) perforated with openings (12) and supporting hollow stacks (20) extending perpendicularly to said plate (10) each opening (12) of the plate having a stack (20) mounted thereon said stack having the same cross section as said opening (12) characterised in that the plate (10) is provided with a plurality of openings (30) arranged at the periphery of each stack (20) inside a circumscribed circle the centre of which coincides with the centre of the stack (20) the radius of which is no larger than 1/3 of the shortest distance separating two adjacent stacks (20) and in that a single deflecting element (40) is arranged under each stack (20) the openings (30) and the deflecting element (40) combined associated with each of the stacks (20) being arranged so as to induce a rotary movement in the gas/liquid mixture below each stack.
