Tree Smuggler Detector

Abstract: The objective of this work is to implement a safeguard system for trees, from cutting down through smuggling activity. In forest, the trees are being smuggled without the knowledge of government. To prevent this eradication of natural and social wealth, this TREE. SMUGGLER DETECTOR is designed. If this device gets into existence with the approval of government, the major impact on deforestation and loss of our national resources such as sandal-wood trees, oak trees, Red-wood trees , etc could be saved. The TREE SMUGGLER DETECTOR uses the 89S52 microcontroller which connects vibrator sensor is thus placed at the bottom of the trees. If the smuggler arrives and if he starts striking and through the continuous striking the information will be send to the Forest Office sectors or any other related public sector office through GSM module, this can be done through the vibration sensor. Another type of sensor is thus placed in-order to detect whether the human is doing the vibration or not. Through the display the information will be passed in the forest office and viewed for every consequent periods if not viewed there occurs continuous beeping through alarm. The main operation can be done by using the MASTER-SLAVE operation by keeping some peer group of trees as master and other trees as slaves, can be done using "Zig-bee" technology .

TREE SMUGGLER DETECTOR
TECHNICAL FIELD OF INVENTION
The main idea is to implement this project to safeguard the trees from destruction (i.e) smuggling .In forest the trees are being smuggled without the knowledge of governments. To prevent this eradication of natural and social wealth, this TREE SMUGGLAR DETECTOR is designed. If this device gets into existence with the approval of government, the major of deforestation can be reduced. The smuggled woods such as sandal-wood trees, oak trees, Red-wood trees , etc could be saved.
SUMMARY OF INVENTION

COMPONENT SPECIFICATION:
VIBRATOR SENSOR:
Measurement Specialties is a leading global provider of accelerometers and vibration sensing know-how for applications in Aircraft Design & Testing, Automotive Design & Testing, Automotive Safety Testing, Machine & Structure Monitoring and Motorsport. We offer both DC-Response (Static) and AC-Response (Dynamic) types of accelerometers to meet your different needs.
There are two classes of accelerometers: AC-response and DC-response types. In an AC-response accelerometer, as the name implies, the output is AC coupled. An AC coupled device cannot be used to measure static acceleration such as gravity and constant centrifugal acceleration. It is only suitable for measuring dynamic events. A DC-response accelerometer, on the other hand, is DC coupled, and responds down to zero Hertz. It therefore can be used to measure static, as well as dynamic acceleration.
MASTER-SLAVE :
(1) An electronic interaction in which one device acts as the controller (the master) and initiates the commands, and the other devices (the slaves) respond accordingly.
(2) An ordering of electronic devices in a primary-secondary sequence. For example, when a pair of ATA(IDE) disk drives are installed in the same PC, one is configured as master and the other as slave.
ADVANTAGES:
The main advantage of this invention is
• The trees smuggling can be avoided.
• The cost of the device is reduced through Master-slave operation through Zig Bee Technology.
• The easy maintenance of device is done.
• The income of government can be raised through preserving costlier trees .
• Eradication!of natural wealth can be prevented.

WE CLAIM
1. A system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the trees are fitted with smuggler detector at the bottom.
2. A system as claimed in claim 2, wherein the trees are found to get chopped, at first strike the sensor fitted will detect the object size and height.
3. A system as claimed in claim 3, wherein
a. In case of small sized object the sensor quits from detecting, this is 1st type of sensor.
b. If the type of object is larger in size, the vibrator sensor works .
c. For the first 2 strikes, the sensor starts sensing .
d. For the third strike the sensed information will be sent to the Forest Office.
4. A system as claimed in claim 4, wherein the forest officials will get into notice through the continuous beep sound.
5. A system as claimed in claim 5, wherein within some period of interval the officials will be at the striking spot.
6. A system as claimed in claim 6, wherein the information sent will be with the form of MASTER-SLAVE operation.
7. A system as claimed in claim 7, wherein this concept is done through the ZIGBEE technology.
8. A system as claimed in claim 9, wherein for every single strike the information transmitted will be within the peer group of tress.
9. A system as claimed in claim 9, wherein the data transmission can be made more effectively using this technology and the smuggling can be prevented.
