Abstract: A turbine engine [10] comprises an airfoil [78] having one or more internal cooling circuits [120, 122, 124]. The cooling circuits [120, 122, 124] can be fed with a flow of cooling fluid from one or more cooling air inlet passages [88, 90, 92]in fluid communication with the cooling circuits [120, 122, 124]. The cooling circuits [120, 122, 124] can provide the cooling fluid flow within the airfoil [78] to cool the airfoil [78], as well as provide a cooling fluid to a plurality of film holes [200] to create a cooling film on the external surface of the airfoil [78].
