Two Vaccine Compositions Comprising Mutated Strain Of Salmonella Typhi And Salmonella Typhimurium

Abstract: The present invention relates to obtaining two vaccine composition comprising mutated strain of Salmonella typhi and Salmonella typhimurium optionally along with pharmaceutically acceptable carriers; a process to obtain two vaccine composition comprising mutated strain of Salmonella typhi and S. typhimurium optionally along with pharmaceutically acceptable carriers, wherein the process comprises steps of: (a) obtaining mutated strain of Salmonella typhi and S. typhimurium by lambda red recombination system; and (b) optionally mixing the mutated strain with pharmaceutically acceptable carriers to obtain said composition; a strain of Salmonella typhi carrying mutation from STY 2527-2534 and Styphimurium carrying mutation from STM2296-STM2304 in the virulence gene.
