Ultrasonic Phased Array Detection Device

Abstract: An ultrasonic phased array detection device (1) for sequentially subjecting a plurality of pipes (9) positioned in parallel to a flaw detection test of a welded section (92) thereof using the phased array method which uses ultrasonic waves. The ultrasonic phased array detection device (1) is equipped with: a flaw detection testing element (4) which is inserted into a target pipe (94) among the pipes (9) which has been targeted for flaw detection testing, and subjects a welded section (92) thereof to flaw detection testing; a drive mechanism (2) for rotating the flaw detection testing element around the axis of the target pipe (94); and a jig (6) which is inserted into and secured to a pipe (96) which is different from the target pipe (94). The flaw detection testing element (4) has a flaw detection part (41) which is integrally provided with a phased array probe (42) which executes the phased array method using ultrasonic waves, and also has a pressing mechanism (45) which presses the phase detection part (41) against the inner surface of the target pipe (94).
