DESC:TITLE OF THE INVENTION
[0001] Miniature Ultrasonic receivers for detecting contaminants in a flow of textile material

FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0002] The present invention relates to ultrasonic receivers in particular to the structural configuration of miniature ultrasonic receivers for detecting contaminants in textile materials efficiently in the opening process of spinning mills.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION
[0003] The present application claims priority from the Provisional Application No. 201641037837 filed on 5th Nov 2016, the full disclosure of which is hereby incorporated by reference herein.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The quality of fabric depends on the quality of fibre used for producing yarn. Various contaminants like nylon straps, jute, plastic film, hairs, bird feather and various other foreign fibers like polypropylene affect the process performance and quality of final fabric. Hence, the need for removing these contaminants becomes essential.

[0005] Traditionally, in the opening process of spinning mill, contaminants are removed manually. It is a tedious task and cost for human resources is also high. Also, efficient removal of contaminants manually is impossible. To overcome the above draw back, contamination sorters are used.

[0006] Presently, the contamination sorters available for detecting and removing contaminants work on various principles. Usage of Ultrasonic receivers is one among the methodologies of detecting contaminants.

[0007] The presently available contamination sorters use traditional Ultrasonic receivers which has the disadvantage of “deaf zone” through which there are more possibilities for the contaminants to escape. This especially happens when contaminants are smaller in size.
To overcome the above disadvantage, the present invention uses miniature Ultrasonic receivers with specific shape and dimensions. Using such miniature Ultrasonic receivers, the “Deaf zone” is eliminated fully thereby improving the detection efficiency.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0008] The main object of the present invention is to deploy miniature type ultrasonic receivers in the contamination sorters in the spinning mill to eliminate the “deaf zone” there by providing a complete solution for contamination removal and defect free fabrics.
Other objects of the invention will be apparent from the description of the invention herein below.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0009] Accordingly the present invention relates to miniature ultrasonic receivers wherein the shape of the ultrasonic receivers is cuboid.

[0010]The usage of miniature Ultrasonic receivers has many advantages and one main advantage of them is the elimination of deaf zone. Any size of contaminant is detected by miniature Ultrasonic receivers thereby achieving high detection efficiency.

[0011]Such miniature Ultrasonic receivers used for detecting contaminants in a flow of textile material, especially in Blow room of the spinning mills have a dimension ranging from 3mm to 10mm in length, 3mm to 10mm in width and 0.5 to 3mm in thickness. Such plurality of miniature ultrasonic receivers are mounted on common or individual carrier in any geometrical arrangements. The miniature Ultrasonic receivers of the present invention can be either directly soldered on a carrier or alternatively cut outs on carrier can be provided wherein the Ultrasonic receivers are fixed.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0012]The present invention is described in the detailed description and not by way of limitation, in the figures of the accompanying drawings, and in which
Figure 1 shows the structure of miniature type ultrasonic receiver.
Figure 2 shows the miniature type ultrasonic receivers mounted on a common carrier
Figure 3 shows the miniature type ultrasonic receivers mounted on individual carriers

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0013]For the better understanding of the object, technical solution and advantage of the present invention, the present invention will be further explained in detail with respect to embodiments and accompanying drawings below. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein only be used for explaining the present invention but not used to limit the present invention.

[0014]The present invention relates to the miniature Ultrasonic receivers (1), its shape and dimensions for detecting contaminants in a flow of textile material.

Figure 1 explains the structure of miniature Ultrasonic receiver (1). X indicates the length of the miniature Ultrasonic receiver (1) which can range from 3mm to 10mm, Y indicates the width of the miniature Ultrasonic receiver (1) which can range from 3mm to 10mm and Z indicates the thickness of the miniature Ultrasonic receiver (1) which can range from 0.5mm to 3mm. The miniature Ultrasonic receiver (1) forms a cuboid shape with Length, Width and thickness dimensions X, Y and Z respectively as indicated. The edges of the cuboid can be smoothened for the purpose of easy handling.

Figure 2 explains the method of mounting a plurality of miniature Ultrasonic receivers (1) on carrier (2) wherein the miniature Ultrasonic receivers (1) are mounted on a common carrier (2). Such mounting can be done directly by soldering or fixing the miniature Ultrasonic receivers (1) on carrier (2) by making cut outs.Figure 3 explains an alternate embodiment of mounting a plurality of miniature Ultrasonic receivers (1) on carrier (2) wherein the miniature Ultrasonic receivers (1) are mounted on individual carriers (2). Such mounting can be done directly by soldering or fixing the miniature Ultrasonic receivers (1) on carrier (2) by making cut outs.

[0015]In certain embodiments, the plurality of miniature ultrasonic receivers (1) are arranged in any geometrical arrangements.

[0016]The size and shape of the ultrasonic receivers of the present invention eliminates the “deaf zone” in the contamination sorter thereby achieving higher detection efficiency of the contaminants. ,CLAIMS:We claim:

1. A miniature ultrasonic receiver (1) used for detecting contaminants in a flow of textile material characterized by cuboid shape of the ultrasonic receiver (1) wherein the length of the miniature ultrasonic receiver (1) ranges from 3 to 10mm, width from 3 to 10mm and thickness from 0.5 to 3mm.

2. The miniature ultrasonic receiver according to claim 1 wherein the plurality of ultrasonic receivers (1) are mounted on a common carrier (2).

3. The miniature ultrasonic receiver according to claim 1 wherein the plurality of ultrasonic receivers (1) are mounted on individual carriers (2).

4. The miniature ultrasonic receiver as claimed in one of the preceding claims wherein pluralities of miniature ultrasonic receivers (1) are arranged in any geometrical arrangements.
