Abstract: Abstract In this method of invention, uniquely designed aerodynamic shaped propellant engine is used in proposed under water rover, fitted with ultra violet lamps, controlled oxygen and ozone releasing generators to sterilize water. In this equipment DO, COD, BOD, Ammonia, Hydrogen Sulphide, phosphene gas detecting sensors are arranged which will periodically send the data to an intelligent automated control system to release or cease or alter the ozone or oxygen concentration in the system. The automatic wing model paddles arranged at the bottom will push any accumulated waste or unused feed to one corner to scrub out whenever required

Summary:
This method of invention which includes comprehensive treatment and conditioning for pond ecology system. The instrument proposed, consists of gas sensors which can identify and quantify the gases evolved within the ponds ecology like ammonia, phosphine, H2S like hazardous gases due to decomposition of feed and foecal matters accumilated at the bottom.
The system also consists of oxygen concentrates to pump oxygen gas wherever dissolved oxygen is dropped with the help of DO meters to suddenly raise the oxygen levels. By receiving the DO level parameters, the micro-processor enabled oxygen discharge system flushes oxygen gas wherever targeted. The COD (chemical oxygen demand) and TOC (total organic carbon) or TDC (total dissolved carbon) sensors are provided to diagonise the microbial, viral load and send the data to central controller which releases required quantity of ozone from the ozonator provided. Under the arms of rover, pulsed UV lamps are arranged which continuously flashes to kill the anaerobic bacteria acting as disinfector. The image identification software provided to central processor takes IR images of the crustacean species and picks up in the net by pushing the paddle and this whole system is called a crustacean trap.
The instrument is provided with saddles which pushes the accumulated feed material into one corner of the pond doing the scavanging job, preventing release of undesired gases. Hence the whole system act as pond ecology diagoniser, data provider, thermal 3d image generator with temperature sensors arranged, online continuous disinfector, also acting as crash DO enhancement mechanism provider.
4. Description
Under water rover is a novel concept of making one stop solution kind of instrument that addresses all the needs of aqua ponds. In general the assessment of thermal sce¬nario in a pond and in-equal distribution of oxygen content is major problems when it comes to pond ecology.
If there is an underwater instrument that is available to move from one end of pond to other end by continuously monitoring Ammonia content, Hydrogen Sulphide content, Oxygen concentration, COD, BOD and DO content simultaneously, it would be a great help for the care taker to take appropriate decisions. The proposed system is determined to provide with all these facilities within the 3 dimensional, geometrical zones of the pond, by connecting to intelligent automatic control systems.
Eesavyasa's Underwater Rover is a comprehensive fool-proof solution for primary usage in maintaining the aquatic ecosystem. The design principle incorporates the corporation's premise of utilizing home-grown technology for social benefits, and specifically in this case providing the aqua-culture farming community with a cost-effective means to better their yield by improving the pond ecosystem. Key features of the rover include a chemical/gas scrubber, UV and Ozone disinfector, a sludge-cum-crustacean trap and Sensors (Temperature and Oxygen demand).
Background of invention
Poor aeration and toxic waste management due to feed in ponds are two of the major issues that the aqua-farming community faces resulting in poor yield in fish culture. Some specific issues are:
-
- Increase in Ammonia and Sulphur percentage levels due to excreta from aquatic animals and sludge creation (food and waste accumulation)
-
- Dissolved oxygen reduces due to increase in such toxic gases, COD and BOD levels increase
-
- Temperature spikes in the pond ecosystem impact poikilothermic animals and needs to be continuously monitored
Present day solutions are not effective in terms of completeness nor in terms of power/cost savings.
- Sludge pumps do not remove the sludge because of the risk of decreasing the
DO levels, but end up releasing H2S gases that kill prawns. Other fishes can
come to the surface for their oxygen needs, unlike prawns
Bleaching powder can kill viruses/bacteria, but there are chlorine traces are a side effect which impacts exports.
