Underslung Elevator
Abstract: This invention provides an underslung elevator that is capable of suppressing occurrences of bending moment acting on a pulley beam while suppressing the project height of a pulley assembly from the bottom face of an elevator car thereby reducing costs and weight. This underslung elevator comprises: a car chamber; a beam that is under a car frame that is directly attached to the bottom face of the car chamber floor and that supports the car chamber; a pulley assembly that is configured by rotatably supporting each pulley between the ends in the length direction of a pair of pulley beams disposed so as to be mutually separated and face each other and that is disposed on the bottom of the car floor; and an anti vibration rubber isolator that is disposed between the beam under the car frame and the pulley assembly. The pulley is supported by the pair of pulley beams so that a portion thereof projects up from the pair of pulley beams and the anti vibration rubber isolator is arranged so as to be positioned vertically above a shaft of the pulleys as viewed from the axial direction of each of the pulleys and to sandwich each of the pulleys as viewed from above in the vertical direction.
