4. DESCRIPTION
TECHNICAL FIELD
[001] The present disclosure generally relates to a system, platform and method for a unified and integrated digital transmission of content by selectively choosing digital content transmission service providers.
BACKGROUND
[002] Presently, most of the companies often spend substantial amounts of time, money, effort and other such resources developing multiple channels to communicate with groups of people, such as existing consumers and potential customers. Companies often implement methods, hardware, and software that are unique to a given channel of communication. In addition, companies may dedicate specific employees to manage a single channel of communication. For example, a company may assign a team to implement and manage a software package that communicates with customers in a targeted manner on their website. The same company may assign a different team to implement and manage a different software package that communicates with customers through electronic mail messages. Such an arrangement typically causes duplication of work and an inconsistent message to customers. This duplication of work is inefficient and may cause unnecessary increases in the company's expenses. Inconsistent and uncoordinated messages through the various channels may create poor online experiences and cause confusion for customers as well, resulting in lost sales and revenue for the company.
[003] Conventionally, digital messaging is the easiest way for time appropriate communications. There are so many digital messaging platforms/solutions available in the market Like: Email, SMS and Social networks. The e-mail communication uses a standard communication protocol that allows the transmission of messages between users that may have different service providers. A message sender can subscribe to or obtain an account with a first service provider and still send an e-mail message to a recipient even when the recipient subscribes to a second service provider. This is true even when each service provider may have a unique communication protocol to communicate with its own subscribers because the communication between subscribers utilizes a standard communication protocol.
[004] Typically, service providers do not utilize a standard communication protocol for transmitting messages or activity data. As a result, a particular service provider only supports a communication between its own subscribers registered with the specific service provider. If a user wishes to establish a communication with a particular individual subscriber of a second service provider, the user must also subscribe to the second service provider and logon to the second service provider system to communicate with the particular individual. At the very least, this is a cumbersome procedure and very insecure in maintaining the data related to the user.
[005] Further conventionally, most of the individuals or companies specifically create campaigns to provide an integrated marketing communication to multiple users by subscribing a related service provider. But, the process of developing such campaigns focused on mobile devices is costly and often difficult to evaluate from a cost benefit analysis perspective. And also the conventional process of subscribing the service providers used by the companies or individuals is cumbersome and there is loss of all the data, when the user is wishing to switch from one service provider to other service provider based on the availability of the user.
[006] In the light of aforementioned discussion there exists a need of a unified digital communication platform to selectively choose a digital content transmission service provider for transmitting digital campaigning content.
