Unvulcanized Tire Deposit Device And Operating Mechanism Thereof

Abstract: An unvulcanized tire deposit device for storing the unvulcanized tire and transferring the unvulcanized tire from the tire building area to the vulcanizing area, and for handling the unvulcanized tire in the vicinity of vulcanizing press ready for vulcanizing tire. The device comprises plurality of paddles (6) equispaced on top surface of a base structure (1) on to a paddle sliding surface (1A). The plurality of paddles (6) moves synchronously for accommodating various tire profiles and ensures centering of the placed tire using a bead centering element (22). The device includes locking mechanism (23) to lock the paddles according to required tire size. A reading labels (14A, 14B) corresponds to the tire size are labelled on a lock plate (13) of the locking mechanism. The size of the tire locked is indicated by a pointer label (15). This device provides easy operation of device during repositioning of paddles for varying tire profiles. The device can easily be aligned and positioned with respect to the tire vulcanizing press with help of positioning elements (3A, 3B, 4A, 4B), to ensure non movement due to shocks in placement of unvulcanized tires. The device having maneuvering elements (2) and roller wheels (18) easy maneuvering of the device. The device also incorporates a sensing element (19) to provide necessary inputs to a controller.
