FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to a storage space assembly and more particularly it relates to utility box compartment structure for vehicle and method of assembly thereof.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
Generally in some cases rear seats have to be removed from the vehicles and are replaced with something useful for the customer. Typically rear parts of the vehicles do not have any utility box for storage and are not big enough for holding big things like bottles or like articles.
Generally storage compartment or utility box comprises several plastic components like fixed portion, door portion, bin for storage. Typically fixed portion and door portion after closure of said door portion define the storage space. Door portion and fixed portion comprises locking means such as latch assembly at suitable location for locking the door in close position which defines the storage space.
Typically various types of storage space compartments are available in vehicles or SUV. All storage spaces are incorporated in the trim of vehicles defined by the fixed portion and door portion. This type of arrangement of storage space suffers from one major disadvantage that there is inconvenience in taking out relatively big and long object like water bottle from the storage space.
Another disadvantage of existing system is that the cleaning of said arrangement is quite difficult due to the complex construction.
