DESC:FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
Present invention relates generally to protein shake powders and more
particularly to a vegan protein shake powder fortified with herbal extracts
and phycocyanin.
? BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Most of the vegan protein powders are presented with protein powder
prepared from vegetarian sources such as Soybean, Rice, Pea etc. Few such
products additionally include vitamins and minerals to meet the additional
need of consumers. These consumers are majorly those who aim to develop
muscle mass and to attain a sturdy body figure.
During heavy workout, our body cells undergo high energy production and
so as a large deal of metabolic turnover. This eventually gives rise to a load
of various oxidative species at cellular level which may cause considerable
damage to cells and tissue over a period if it lasts for longer. Continuous
high metabolic rate in cells may lead to micro-inflammation and damage to
organs like the liver.
FR3055088 discloses a food supplementation of humans and / or animals
exposed to intense to moderate physical exertion, which comprising;
spirulina extract, proteins, amino acids and vitamins.
IN201741006191A discloses a composition useful for promoting muscle
health, comprising phycocyanin hydrolysate, and milk hydrolysate.

However, it appears that prior art formulations are not a good enough
source to meet the body's other requirements such as antioxidant defense,
anti-inflammatory support, liver protection etc.
Thus, there exists a need to develop a vegan protein shake powder which
can address the issues of free radicals induced toxicity, inflammation, liver
damage etc. in the body due to usage of such protein powders.
? OBJECT OF THE INVENTION:
Therefore, the principal object of the present invention is to provide a
Vegan Protein Shake Powder which is additionally enriched to overcome
the limitations of the prior art powders.
Another main objective of the present invention is to provide a vegan
protein shake powder which contains a unique blend of vegan protein
powder, herbal extracts and phycocyanin.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a vegan protein
shake powder which can address other issues like antioxidant defense, liver
protection and inflammation prevention over its own benefits.
Thus, the ultimate objective of the present invention is to provide a vegan
protein shake powder which can provide additional health benefits than just
muscle mass building and vitamin supplementation.

? SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention relates to a vegan protein shake powder which is
prepared from peas and rice powders which are blended with a unique
blend of herb extracts, essential vitamins, minerals, natural sweeteners,
flavors and thickeners to prepare a homogenous blend. In the end,
phycocyanin powder is mixed with the blend which is then blended
thoroughly for even distribution in the product. The vegan protein shake
powder can be made as an unflavoured powder, vanilla flavored powder or
chocolate flavored powder.
