Abstract: The present invention discloses a wireless reverse alert system in automobiles especially for four wheeled vehicles. Said reverse backup alert system (11) in a vehicle comprises of, a control unit (13) with display (14) mounted on the dashboard (5) of said vehicle, a receiving unit (22) disposed in the back portion of said vehicle and connected with, reverse indicator lights (63), at least an alert device (25) mounted in the back portion of said vehicle and connected with the receiving unit (22), characterized in that, said receiving unit.(22) and control unit (13) are interactively connected through wireless communication device (16) (24).
1. A reverse backup alert system (11) in a vehicle comprises of,
a) a control unit (13) with display (14) mounted on the dashboard (5) of said vehicle;
b) a receiving unit (22) disposed in the back portion of said vehicle and connected with reverse indicator lights (63);
c) at least an alert device (25) mounted in the back portion of said vehicle and connected with the receiving unit (22);
characterized in that, said receiving unit (22) and control unit (13) are interactively connected through wireless communication device (16) (24).
2. The reverse backup alert system (11) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that said wireless communication device (16) (24) is preferably Bluetooth, Zigbee or Wi-Fi.
3. The reverse backup alert system (11) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that said alert device (25) is preferably a horn, buzzer or alarm.
4. The reverse backup alert system (11) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that said control unit (13) comprises of a microphone (15) and a transceiver (16).
5. The reverse backup alert system (11) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that said display (14) is preferably a touch sensitive screen.
6. The reverse backup alert system (11) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that said receiving unit (22) comprises of a microcontroller (23) and a transceiver (24).
7. The reverse backup alert system (11) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that said receiving unit (22) receives electrical power from said reverse indicator lights (63) when reverse gear (17) is enabled.
8. The reverse backup alert system (11) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that said microphone (15) is preferably a wireless • communicable voice controller.
9. The method of working of reverse backup alert system (11) comprises the steps of;
a) By enabling the reverse gear (17), receiving unit (22) receives electrical power from said reverse indicator lights (63);
b) Transferring wireless signals from receiver unit (22) to control unit (13) through wireless communication devices (16) (24);
c) Displaying an operable pop-up notification based application icon on the display (14) by the control unit (13);
d) Transferring wireless signal from control unit (13) to the receiver unit (22) through wireless communication devices (16) (24) when said application icon is touched by the driver on the display (14);
e) Energizing the horn (25) by receiving unit (22) to produce a honk on the rear side of the vehicle.
10. The method of reverse backup alert system (11) as claimed in claim 1 & 9, characterized in that said operable application icon is preferably a symbolic representation of a sound icon displayed on the display (14) by the control unit (13).
