Abstract: The vehicle comprises a plurality of batteries (24), a charger (26) associated with each of the batteries (24) and at least one piece of equipment (32) capable of being powered by the plurality of batteries (24), and a vehicle monitoring 10 system, the monitoring system (20) including at least one sensor (36) of a battery (24) state parameter for each battery, a communication network (40) adapted to receive information from each sensor (36) of a battery (24) state parameter and from each charger (26), and to transmit the received information to a processing unit (42), the processing unit (42) being adapted to process information relating to 15 a battery (24) whose associated charger (26) is switched off or defective using the information received for the other batteries.
