Specification

Field of the invention is design and development of a vehicle disinfectant station for
animal farms, fish farms, poultry farms and public places. Field of the technology is
agriculture equipment and sanitising equipment for any field.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Vehicles are considered as a major risk factor for the spread of diseases among
poultry farms, animal farm, food processing plants and fish farming etc. In covid-19
pandemic vehicles are manually disinfected while entering in to the public places such
as hospitals, schools, colleges etc. More particularly in poultry industry during working
hours many vehicles enters the farm as chicks brought from hatchery, vehicles from
feed mills, servicemen from company and other farms etc. Animal farms such as pig
farming industry vehicles carrying feed and other necessary items are the regular
entity. As these vehicles often visit other sites where infected poultry or animals are
present, they serve as a means of disease spread. Therefore, it has become
necessary to decontaminate the vehicles at entry point of the farms and other places.
During Avian influenza virus outbreaks over the recent year's vehicles are considered
as a virus carrier and they are identified as a vector called "mobile vector," caused by
vehicles and people moving into and out of areas where poultry is raised and
processed. Mobile vectors cause spread of Avian influenza viruses that primarily infect
birds, including poultry such as turkeys and chickens. Avian influenza viruses are type
A influenza viruses that are genetically distinguishable from influenza viruses that
usually infect people. There are many subtypes of avian influenza A viruses, including
H7 and H5. Avian influenza viruses can be distinguished as "low pathogenic" and "high
pathogenic" forms based on genetic features of the virus and the severity of the illness
they cause in poultry. Poultry farms infected with avian influenza viruses where the
virus spread through vehicles carrying saliva, nasal secretions, and droppings of the
infected birds. Infection among poultry often proves fatal and has the potential to
decimate an entire flock within days.

In pig farming truck driver unloading pigs at slaughter immediately after diseased pigs
have been unloaded from a previous lorry, is likely to contaminate his boots and his
lorry. If the vehicle moves one farm to another farm to collect pigs' chances of
spreading of disease are more. Field experiences have documented that pig trucks
were major factors in the spread of both TGE virus and swine vesicular disease (SVD)
virus so it is likely to be true for other pathogens, particularly highly infectious ones.
Diseases such as transmissible gastro-enteritis, porcine epidemic diarrhoea, swine
dysentery, salmonellosis and swine vesicular disease may spread easily th rough
vehicles. Finally, a spray of disinfecting fluid over the vehicles recommended at
various levels.
In fish farming there are many causes of spreading the diseases to the fishes where
virus and bacteria carries by the vehicle is considered as a one of the major factors in
pond type fish culture.
Covid-19 is a deadly virus that has infected millions of people over the world.
According to the World Health Organization, the disease can spread from person
to person through small droplets from the nose or mouth, which are spread when a
person with COVID-19 coughs or exhales. The droplets can land on objects and
surfaces around the person. If someone nearby touches these objects or surfaces
then touches his or her eyes, nose or mouth, the person will likely be infected. The
disease can also be spread if a person with COVID-19 spit over the surface. Corona
virus may spread through the wheels of the vehicle and through other external part
of the vehicle if it was in service at highly infected area such as area near
quarantine centre, hospitals and mortuaries etc. At present vehicles more
particularly, the ambulances are recommended to be disinfected from inside and
outside immediately after carrying the infected patients.
In all the above application area effectively disinfecting vehicles according to the
recommended practices has been difficult to achieve. At present hand-held spraying
systems and water pit with disinfectant at the entrance of the farm are employed to
apply disinfectant to vehicles. Applying disinfectant th rough such a method can lead
to non-uniform application; particularly to portions of the under carriage of
the vehicle where application of disinfectant can be altogether missed. In such cases
Page 2 of7
Non-uniformity in application can be even more prevalent when it is left up to drivers,
with varying levels of biosecurity training, to disinfect their own vehicles. Moreover,
proper disinfection of vehicles through these methods can be very time consuming.
As per theory different disinfecting solutes are required for different diseases more
important is to control the dose of the disinfectant. Overdose may cause damage to
external part of the vehicle and wastage of money, underdose may allow germs to
enter the farms. The proposed invention is an intelligent system that can adjust the
quantity of disinfecting material automatically by employ of ratio controller.

the fluid storage unit (2) where the function of storage unit is to provide sufficient fluid
to maintain a constant pressure. An electric pump (3) takes a primary fluid through
connected pipe (4) and provides fluid under high pressure through (5) where fluid filter
(6) filters the fluid before sending the pressurised fluid to the nozzles. Disinfecting fluid
is stored in unit (7) where an injector (8) provides manual controls the quantity of
disinfecting fluid. Ratio controller (9) control the ratio of disinfecting fluid and inlet fluid
where the mixture of the fluid passes to the plural of nozzles through (1 0). The ratio
set point can be managed through the control unit (11) where minimum one computer
is fitted inside the control unit (11) to control all the functions of the system. Disinfecting
system is provided with vehicle identifying sensor (12) as in Fig . 1 which determine
the height and approximate shape of the vehicle. Sensor (12) is further connected the
sub controller of (11) that adopts sensory raw input data (22) as in Fig 2 and process
to identify the vehicle (13). After passing through vehicle identifying sensor (12) as
the vehicle moves over the platform (14) plural of proximity sensors (15) detected the

presence of the vehicle. As per the profile of the vehicle and presence of the vehicle,
controller actuate the individual actuator to throw the pressurised mixed disinfecting
fluid through the plural of nozzles (16) which are connected to main stream of
pressurised fluid (1 0). Plural of the nozzles are provided under the drainage channel
(21) as mentioned in figure 2 and on the sides of the vehicle. Side nozzles can be
manually adjustable to target particular point on the side of the vehicle. Sub controller
of controller (11) takes a decision to open the side nozzles as per the height of the
vehicle with objective to save the fluid used for disinfecting the vehicle. Channel of the
drain (22) carries the used disinfected fluid to the secondary storage unit (17) where
an electric pump (18) pushes out the used disinfected fluid to the main channel (20)
through (19). Operator may opt an option for automatic control and for manual control
of operation. For automatic control operation the controller can be programmed for
particular duration of disinfection and or as the vehicle passes over an exit sensor (21)
