Vehicle Sunroof Support Structure

Abstract: A vehicle sunroof support structure (100), having a first support member (101) configured to be mounted substantially proximate to an A-pillar of the vehicle and a second support member (102) configured to be mounted substantially proximate to a B-pillar of said vehicle. The first support member (101) and the second support member (102) is connected using side support members (103, 103’) at both ends to define an opening (109) for the sunroof. Also, the sunroof support structure (100) is mounted using a z-shaped mounting bracket (104), a middle mounting bracket (105), a central mounting extension (106) and a rear mounting bracket (107) said brackets/extensions configured to mate with a respective contour formed on a side rail (201). Further, said respective contours on the side rail (201) is adapted to also allow mounting of non-sunroof support structure having plurality of cross members (210).
