Specification

Technical field of invention:

Present invention in general relates to the sprinkler system and more particularly to a device for fertilizer or chemical injection using two suction ports.

Prior art:

Now-a-days by using drip irrigation system, farmers ate producing variety of crops not only of grapes, banana, sugarcane, pomegranate but also of flowers, for this, traditional fertilizer methods are used. In same places fertilizer soluble in water are used. For this purpose they use fertilizers tanks or H.T.P. Pumps. Elsewhere fertilizers are supplied by foot pumps also or pumps of 0.5 HP are used.

[003] The base for water soluble fertilizers is acid. Hence, all the above equipment’s become useless by corrosion. For this purpose, there is needed to introduce a new fertilizer injectorusing which user can supply uniform quantity of fertilizers in the entire field. Thus many attempts are made to fulfill the need and few of them are discussed below.

[004] CN102630426A discloses structure optimization method for Venturi fertilizer injector. The structure optimization method comprises the following steps of: 1) performing numerical simulation modeling and simulation on a model Venturi fertilizer injector by applying a computational fluid dynamics technology; 2) determining the range of structural parameters to be optimized of the Venturi fertilizer injector; 3) establishing a fertilizer absorption performance evaluation model of the Venturi fertilizer injector by taking fertilizer absorption efficiency as a comprehensive index; 4) performing orthogonal combination on the parameters to be optimized, performing numerical simulation by utilizing the computational fluid dynamics technology, and determining the optimal structural parameter combination of the Venturi fertilizer injector through a principal element analysis method: the minimal diameter Dt1 of a contraction section, the minimal diameter Dt2 of a diffusion section, the length L1 of the contraction section, the length L2 of the diffusion section, the length L0 of a throat part, the angle alpha of the contraction section and the angle beta of the diffusion section; and 5) processing and molding according to a group of the optimal structural parameters determined according to the step 4), and testing performance. The structure optimization method disclosed by the invention can be used for optimization design of the structural parameters of the Venturi fertilizer injector; and furthermore, the fertilizer absorption performance can be improved, and the fertilizer absorption efficiency can be predicted.

[005] CN101385419B discloses venturi fertilizer injector. The invention relates to a fertilizer injecting device which can adjust the suction strength of a fertilizer absorbing end. The fertilizer injecting device comprises a Venturi device with an empty cavity, nozzles, a flow control valve, a flow meter, a check valve and a filtering device which are linked successively. The nozzles with unequal diameter sizes can be filled in the empty cavity on the throat part of the Venturi device for adjusting the suction strength of the fertilizer absorbing end. An active metal float which is used for indicting the flow value is arranged in the cavity of the flow meter. The wall of the flow meter is provided with calibrations for indicting the flow. The fertilizer injecting device provided by the present invention can suck fertilizer liquid with equalized concentration from an open container and can adjust the amount of fertilizer liquid,, and is convenient to move and is suitable for automation.

[006] US5863128A discloses mixer-injectors with twisting and straightening vanes. A mixer-injector is disclosed to improve the mixing and solution of treatment substances into a water stream. The mixer-injector has a constricting portion, a cylindrical injection portion, and an expanding portion in that order in the direction of flow, with an injector port entering the injection portion. The twisting vanes are formed on the wall of the constricting portion, and straightening vanes are formed on the wall of the expanding portion. The twisting vanes give a rotary component of motion to an outer portion of the water stream in the injection portion, and the straightening vanes remove at least some of it in the expanding portion, both to cause more pronounced vigorous movement of bubbles, and improved solution of the treatment substances.

[007] CN102282955B discloses venturi variable fertilization device and control method based on pulse width modulation (PWM). The invention discloses a variable rate fertilizer venturi apparatus and method of PWM control based on the pressure means includes a main pipe provided thereon with a Venturi fertilization, further comprising a detector capable of Venturi inlet pressure transmitter , solenoid valve control, the solenoid valve and pressure transmitter are located in the main pipe; said controller comprising signal conditioning circuitry, solenoid driver circuit, a microcontroller and a power supply circuit for supplying; said signal conditioning signal input circuit is connected to a pressure transducer, a signal input terminal and the signal output terminal is connected to the microcontroller; signal input of the microcontroller and the signal output terminal is connected to solenoid valve driving circuit, a signal output of the solenoid driving circuit connect the solenoid. With the above means, i.e. by the PWM control technique to control a solenoid valve. The simple structure and low cost; and the use of battery-powered device to the respective main member, convenient and flexible; Furthermore, the apparatus and method for controlling a wireless manner by identifying a state outside a desired fertilizer, and the control apparatus and method for automatically quantified adjust the concentration of fertilizer, without affecting the outlet into the water, it is worth promoting.

[008] The above mentioned devices suffer various drawbacks, apart from their exorbitant cost in manufacturing and maintenance. Therefore to avoid the drawbacks of the existing system and discomfort using the conventional fertilizer injector there is need to develop an improved and efficient fertilizer injecting device. Hence the present invention provides a venture fertilizer injecting device made by using two suction ports.

Detailed description:

[0019] The present invention provides a venturi fertilizer injecting device. The proposed device is used for higher quantity fertilizer application or chemical injection in irrigation system by creating minimal energy loss. The proposed fertilizer injector is made by using two suctions ports.

[0020] The proposed venturi injector creates vacuum when fluid flows through it. Therefore instead of one suction port, the device is made with two suction ports to utilize all vacuum that create in venturi injector body. This enables the device to create suction at lower pressure difference and higher suction at normal pressure difference than single suction port venture injectors.

[0021] Minimum pressure differential of 20% or less enables a chemical or fertilizer to be drawn through the suction port and is dynamically entrained into the irrigation system. Also minimum motive flow required to inject higher chemical/fertilizer injection into irrigation system.

[0022] The proposed injecting device combined the two suction ports which cause the fertilizer/chemical suction to increase at same motive flow passes through the venture injector. And the structure of conical portion of both inlet and outlet causes less pressure differential required to operate the venturi injector.

[0023] The proposed venturi injectors works by forcing water through a conical body which initiates a pressure differential between the inlet and outlet ports. This creates a vacuum inside the injector body, which initiates fertilizer suction through the suction port. The super suction venture injector have two suction ports and by combining these port and maintaining the same amount of motive flow as passes through the regular venturi injector, the fertilizer suction quantity became more than regular venturi injector i.e. more than 1.5 times.

[0024] Additional advantages and modification will readily occur to those skilled in art. Therefore, the invention in its broader aspect is not limited to specific details and representative embodiments shown and described herein. Accordingly various modifications may be made without departing from the spirit or scope of the general invention concept as defined by the appended claims and their equivalents.
