Vertical Mill
Abstract: In this vertical mill a pulverizing table (15) is supported drive rotatably by a support shaft center that runs vertically inside a housing (11). A pulverizing roller (16) is supported freely rotatably on the upper side of this pulverizing table (15) by a first support shaft (17) and the peripheral surface thereof is in contact with the upper surface of the pulverizing table (15) so that the pulverizing roller can turn with the pulverizing table. A support arm (18) that supports the first support shaft (17) is supported freely oscillatably in the housing (11) by a second support shaft (19) such that the pulverizing roller (16) can be freely brought into the proximity of and moved away from the pulverizing table (15). A reaction force loading device (20) is provided that imparts a reaction force load that gives resistance from the support arm (18) to the pulverizing roller (16) in the direction of the pulverizing roller (16) moving away from the pulverizing table (15) by having a damper (31) filled with a magnetic fluid (35) and magnetizing the magnetic fluid (35).
