Specification

Description:Field of the invention
[001] Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a planting tower and particularly to a vertical planting tower.
Description of Related Art
[002] With an increasing rate of urbanization and industrialization, a percentage of greenery in an area is depleting at an alarming rate. People are being deprived of fresh and pure air to inhale. To overcome this problem, a solution of planting green plants and floras in living spaces and private property areas is quite a trend. Many families have developed a farm in their backyards and consume fruits and vegetables grown in them. By doing so, they prevent the consumption of insecticides, pesticides, and other preservative chemical reagents. Additionally, it also adds an aesthetic and ornamental outlook to the property, simultaneously purifying and providing fresh air.
[003] However, in urban and metro cities, where scarcity of living space is also a rising problem, in such places people give up their hobbies and are not much interested in plantations and greenery around. As the living space is already confined there is no allocatable space for gardening and plantations.
[004] There are various gardening and planting pots and planters commercially available that are targeted to the people living in closed space, but either they require an entire installation process and specialized tools, or their build quality is not as par, so they create a mess of water and mud where installed, as leakage or overflow persists while irrigating the plants.
[005] There is thus a need for a vertical planting tower that can overcome the shortcomings faced by traditional planting towers in a more efficient manner.
