Abstract: Shutter glasses include: shutters transmitting or blocking video displayed with a specified display interval on a video display device by performing opening/closing operations based on control information; a clock counter 261; a reception portion (KF communication portion 234, reception-side count value latch circuit 262, reception-side count value storage portion 464a, 464b, count value acquiring portion 263, and transmission-side count value storage portion 465a, 465b) acquiring, as a reception time count value, a value of the clock counter for when a transmission time count value based on a value of an internal clock counter of the video display device was received from the video display device; and a control portion (power control unit 443) setting intermittent reception time slots in which the reception portion receives the control information from the video display device, based on the transmission time count value and the reception time count value.
