Abstract: The present invention relates to the tablet and the system for waste disposal of spit and other similar waste thereof. The invention consists of the tablet and the system for the disposal of the same thereof. The tablet consists of 6.5 gm Sodium Polyacrylate, 3.5 gm Starch and 2gm Aerosil. These are mixed for a time period of approx. 30 mins. The tablet formed has a fix dimension. The system thereof consists of glass with the tablet inside to form a unit. This works by jellifying the residue of spit etc. The method and a disposal system for the same is also present. Vomit/Spitting Absorbent tablet is a mixture of Sodiumpolyacrylate which contains polymers that can absorb and retain extremely large amounts of a liquid relative to their own mass and remaining mixture is Starch & Aerosil used to bind in tablet form.
Background of the invention
Disposal of the waste and its removal is an important aspect. To keep our country
clean and safe is one of the important duties of every citizen. Cleanliness results in
safety and disease resistance i.e less prone to diseases. Even the government promotes
n bring out various such programmes. "Swach Bharat" abhiyaan is one of the
successful effort by the government in this direction. In our country people mostly use
public transport and the buses, trains and most of them used by large mass of people
need to be clean and hygienic. While travelling the people ·are in a habit of spitting
and kids and women sutler the travel sickness syndrom~. This results in vomiting
sensation and most of them result in vomiting. The need was for a system or method
by which this waste disposal of spitting and vomiting is easily disposed off. It need to
be disposed in such a way that it is least harmful and is safely dumped. Many goods
with absorbent are known in the prior art wherein the different chemicals are present
i'n the absorbent in many goods like pads and napkins. These acts by jellyfying the
waste and removing the foul smell and make it odourless. Vomit/Spitting Absorbent
tablet is a mixture of Sodiumpolyacrylate which contains a polymers that can absorb
and retain extremely large amounts of a liquid relative to their own mass and
remaining mixture is Starch & Aerosil used to bind in tablet form.
Field of the invention
"Swach Bharat" is one of the highly appreciated step and will lead into clean and
prosper India. The present invention deals .with tablets and a method and system for
the disposal of the waste. The foul smell of the waste like spit and vomit is also taken
care of. In the present invention a tablet is made and the system for the same is
described. Firstly 6.5Kgm Sodium Polyacrylate with 2.5 kgm of modified starch and
1 kgm of Aerosil in a container. The method of preparation wherein the ingredients are
mixed and wherein the process nearly takes place for a period of 30minutes and after
mixing the powder is poured into a Single stroke tablet machine for making the tablets.
The tablets that are formed are uniform in size. Each tablet have a diameter of about
approximately 50mm which varies from 40-50mm and weights in a range of 12-14gm
and have an absorbent capacity of250ml per tablet.

The method arid system for .the disposal of waste comprises of a container which can
be in a form of glass, cup, Jar or bowl as desired and claimed in the invention. The
tablet is taken in the container. When tablet come in contact with liquids and materials,
the active principles contained in the tablet quickly act to m·ake solidifying the
contents (preferably upto 250 ml) to limit, after closure, the risk of reversal and
spatters while imprisoning the smell and jellifying the residue of spitting/vomiting
within 15-30 seconds. The described tablet absorbs, deodorizes & disinfects while it
solidifies liquids instantly into an odourless spill-proof gel that won't leak. This tablet
prevents the spread of pathogenic organism, minimizing risk of cross infection and
decreasing cost of waste disposal.
Vomit/Spitting Absorbent tablet, when cross-linked absorb aqueous solutions through
hydrogen bonding with water molecules. lts ability to absorb residue of spitting &
vomiting con.tains liquid and a factor of the ionic concentration of the aqueous
solution in Deonized and distill water, a Vomit/Spitting Absorbent tablet may absorb
250m! liquid residue. The presence of valence cations in the solution impedes the
polymer's ability to bond with the water molecule. They control spill and waste
aqueous fluid. The solidifying process quickly takes place by forming a compact
amalgam like while slowing down urea decay process into ammonia, which in the
molecule is responsible for smell. This physical isolation reduces the air oxidation of
the obtained gelatinous mass and limits the risk of germs spreading.
Description of the drawing·
The given drawing such as herein given is a tablet. Each tablet have a diameter of
approximately about 50mm and varies from 40-50 mm and weight is around 12-14gm
and have an absorbent capacity of nearly 250m I per tablet.

.Experiment
The above invention is carried out using the glass and the tablet. A Glass is taken
which contain Vomit/Spitting Absorbent tablet and solidified gel is formed when
water is poured into the Glass with Vomit/Spitting Absorbent tablel. The experiment
. is carried out and the following steps are followed-
1 .. Water is poured on the tablet contained in the container and measure the
absorbency (increments of 250m I)
2. ThP:n thf: (lhsorhency is measured by measuring how thick the water (volume)
3. · Then is calculated that how much water it can absorb with regard to its weight.
It was observed that there is rapid jellifying after the' first increment was added within
15-30 seconds. The results show that the Vomit/Spitting Absorbent tablet can absorb
whole water. Percentage difference is 576% which means 5. 76 times larger than
initial.
The absorbent capacity is measured. It is mainly due to its polymers (super absorbent
polymcrs).which is hydrophilic i.e it is water loving. This is because it has a carboxyl
group that forms hydrogen bonds with the water. Adding sodium to polyarylic acid
helps it absorb more water is because the molecule becomes bi-polar and water
attaches to both the positive and the negative.

Sodium Polyacrylate
It is concluded that the above invention act on the spit/ vomit/ other waste and jellifies
it so that it is dis posed of well.
The above invention is hereinbefore described with reference to the given diagram
and ongoing experiment.
