ABSTRACT: A process for generation of electricity using gravity as source. The process/system consists of a lower water/liquid tank and an upper water/liquid tank connecting each other with a conduit pipe and a water pump to pump the water/liquid from lower water tank to upper- head water /liquid tank .At an approx 200 feet to 250feet of vertical distance from lower water tank four or more co-axial weight/container caring wheels intersecting by the main shaft at their [wheel's] centre are positioned side by side on this main shaft to rotate on it. These wheels can rotate one after another by the influence of falling the containers under gravity. The containers are filled by a centralize operated device when the/are near the upper head tank . upon being filled they are allowed to travel under gravity to their lower most position into the lower tank by release the brakes by a centralize operated braking/stopping device. A self draining mechanism is employed within the containers to drain the water/liquid into the lower tank., drained containers goes up for refilling by the mechanism installed within their associate wheels. An auto cut device being installed within the electricity supply circuit for constant running of the whole process/system.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION: Introducing a process to produce the gravity driven electric power. The innovative process of this invention is almost based on a very new format and different to the contemporaries. The process is an arrangement of an upper water/liquid tank at an approx 200ft to250ft vertical distance from lower water/liquid tank under it's conduit connects these tanks whereby a pump or series of pumps is connected for pumping the water/liquid from lower tank into upper head tank .a plurality of container carrying wheels are positioned side by side on the main shaft nearby at the upper head tank. These wheel are forced to rotate by the traveling of filled containers under gravity . a wire rope as a medium to hold the said traveling containers
on the wheels. A centralize operated filler mechanism is provided for filling the container when they are at the top and the containers are drained into the lower tank at
the end of it's travel, inside the lower tank after the containers have fully drained and are so that empty and light weighted they are back to the top tank for refilling and required no energy from the power obtained to send the container to the top tank . A centralize operated mechanism is employed to refill the containers and to retain them near at the top tank during their refilling and to allow them to travel under gravity after their refilling. The containers are preferably coordinated so that they could travel with their full load under gravity in the different time frames to operate the process continuously .
DETAILED DESCRIPTIONOF A PREFFERED EMBODIMENT ; According to the
drawing shown ,the electricity generating system/process powered by gravity is
illustrated .an upper head water/liquid tank Rland a lower water/liquid tank R2 is
provided at the upper and the lower place of the system .these tanks are connected to each
other with a conduit pipe L between them ,a [water pump or a series of water pumps ] -W
is in connection with the conduit pipe at the lower tank . container
C1,C3,C5 and C7 are positioned at the A-side of the power wheel P1, P2,P3 and P4 to
rotate P1,P2,P3 and P4 with Y-direction respectively [as shown in fig-1]. and
container C2,C4,C6 and C8 are positioned at the B- side of the power wheel P1,P2,P3
and P4 to rotate P1,P2,P3 and P4 one by one with X- direction [as shown in fig-1].
filled container- C1 with rotary direction -Y on power wheel- P1 starts to travel down
towards the lower tank- R2 and tends to rotate the power wheel- PI while empty
container -C2 on B-side of the power wheel -P1 moves towards the upper head tank-Rl
with the same linear speed as of C1 and reaches at it's filling point-F2 right when C1
reaches at S1 inside the lower tank . As container -C1 reaches at the lower tank
adjacent the mounted container-C3 on the A-side of power wheel -P2 with rotary
direction -Y starts to travel down and co-related empty container-C4 on B-side of the
power wheel-P2 moves towards the upper head tank-Rl . this process to travel down of
the rest filled containers and to travel up of the rest empty containers on the power wheel-
P3 and P4 will continue through Y-direction of rotation respectively. As the
container C2,C4,C6andC8 are at their filling points F2,F4,F6andF8 they stay there by locks the brake B2,B4,B6andB8 at the rim /circumference of the power wheel-Pl,P2,P3and P4 in sequence. As filled container -Cl,C3,C5andC7 travels down respectively they caused to rotate the main shaft-S through Y-direction. As the last container-C7 on the power wheel-P4[or container on the last power wheel on the main shaft] attains it's lower most position at S7 the brake system-B2 gets unlock to allow the container-C2 for downward falling on B-side of power wheel-Pl in X-direction of rotation while the main shaft still rotates through Y-direction .[the main shaft/power shaft always rotates through Y-direction of rotation even the power wheels rotates through X or Y-direction or they (power wheels) are stopped by locks the brake while filling the containers at their filling points at their turn. The main shaft is always regular in rotation through Y-direction while power wheel P1,P2,P3 and P4 revolves/rotates through X-direction this is only due to the cormectivity of each power wheel with the
main shaft by related the gearbox Gl,G2,G3andG4 . these attached gearboxes perform
only when the power wheel moves through the X-direction of rotation . Container
Cl,C2,C3,C4,C5,C6,C7andC8 are filled at their associate filling points by filler valves Tl,T2,T3,T4,T5,T6,T7andT8 as they stay respectively at their associated filling points .
A heavy flywheel(containing it's mass maximum at the rim/circumference) being placed
anywhere at the main shaft for absorbing shock/jerk obtained as the container starts to
travel down .flywheel also helps to maintain the momentum and the required rotational
speed of the main shaft and turbine/alternator . The rotation of main shaft be
continues by the regular performance of downwardly traveling of the filled containers so that they could force to rotate the power wheels through X or Y-direction respectively on the main shaft .the rotation of main shaft at last is transmitted to the alternator/turbine by the gear segment-K placed between the main shaft and the alternator/turbine and hence the alternator generates electric power for use while a very few percentage of the power from the power obtained being used within the process . The overloading or under loading both in the electrical supply circuit could be the cause of variation in linear speed of the falling containers whereas the constant running of the system wholly depends upon the constant speed of the falling containers. So as to control the speed of the falling containers an auto cut device-D being placed within the electrical supply circuit. The description of the preferred embodiment of the present invention are present herein for the purpose of illustration and description only .it is not intended to exhaustive or to be limited to the precise form disclosed. While the invention has been described in terms of what are presently considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiment. it is to be understood that the invention need not be limited to the described embodiment. on other hand it is intended to cover various modifications and similar arrangements includes within the spirit and the scope of appended claims which are to be accorded with the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar structure.
AN EXAMPLE OF SUCH MODIFICATION AS FOLLOWS : the container Cl,C3,C5and C7 could be replaced by the (solid type of weight means counterweight) slightly heavy than empty container C2,C4,C6and C8 . these counterweight force the container C2,C4,C6 and C8 to travel back towards the top tank for refilling after'draining them into the lower tank .it means that the main shaft will rotate through Y-direction and only C2,C4,C6 and C8 will travel down and cause to rotate the main shaft and therefore the gearboxesGl,G2,G3 and G4 are not required within such method of modification .
THE SPECIFIC CLUE/ KEY FACTOR ABOUT THE PRESENT INVENTION
; the occurrence of power can also be increased by mere change in the size of power
wheels .attached gearboxes and gear segments in radial mode .
e.g.; - let the net weight of the downward traveling container -100 kg
radius ol'thc power wheel 30 cm .3 m
linear speed of the downward traveling container 2 m/s
electrical power obtained 2.5 KW to 3 .0 KW (on loadm practically)
( The linear speed of the traveling container could more or less than 2 meter per second)
(Different electric power is obtained at different frames of linear speed)
on the same way; weight of the downward traveling container =100 kg and when the
radius of the power wheel = 60 cm = .60 m.,linear speed of the traveling container 2
m/s
electrical power obtained 0' 5 KW to 6 KW (on load - practically)
( according to the above shown fact and figures the change in power obtained occurs
only due to growth in torque obtained at the main shaft)
***** the radius of the power wheels plays a very crucial clue/key role that decides the
way to maximize the power obtained while the weight of the traveling container need not
to be increased, so another but uppermost important clue within this process is the radius
of the power wheels used, the radius of the power wheels must be greater than (twenty
cms) 20 cms. within the process disclosed of this invention and therefore using a
weighl/conlainer carrying wheel with the radius of greater than(lwenly cms) 20 cms.
Within any system /process for the similar purpose should be considered as the copy
/duplicity of the process within this invention.
THE SPECIFIC MAKING OF POWER WHEEL: the power wheels can rotate around the main shaft through either side of rotation as shown in fig. 1 . In the making of power wheel a coaster brake/ratchet being placed /fabricated inside the hub at the centre ol'ihe B- side of each power wheel therefore the power wheel gets interconnected to rotate the main shaft through Y direction and have no rotary connection with main shaft while ihcy (power wheels) rotate through X -direction.
An another coaster brake/ratchet being placed on the outer circumference of the hub al 'the centre of the A- side (of each power wheel so that the ratchet could connect lo the associate gear box( G I ,02.(Band 04 )and therefore they(power wheels) can rotate the main shaft through Y direction while power wheel rotates through X -direction of rotation.
