Abstract: The WALL & CEILING PLASTER/POP MACHINE, developed by me is a very useful and much sought remedy for conventional problem of manually doing plaster or POP on walls or ceilings. This will improve Quality and speed of the work and will be beneficial for the workers as well as the contractors/Builders.
COMPLETE SPECIFICATION
WALL & CEILING PLASTER / POP MACHINE
This machine is the mechanization of a time consuming manual work. Plastering or POP on wall or ceiling had been a tedious, time consuming job, totally depended upon the skill of a mason, which varies from person to person Also this process take a lots of erection and dismantling of scaffolding. Plus there is a lot of wastage of material too. With the change of time and technology development, the construction activity is no more affordable with slow speed, and uncertainty of completion time. Many type of machines have come up in building construction field, which has changed the way, construction was being done earlier. Still there is a need of some more machines.
My concept is of the most required and yet not available Machine, to ease the pressure from most labour oriented work in construction field. With my machine, predefined and planned quality and volume of Plastering and POP can be done on Internal / External Walls and Ceiling. No scaffolding may be required, and a very high speed of work can be done. This machine can be made to do Plaster and or POP, as individual job like for Internal wall, External wall and Ceiling or Single machine can do all the jobs. This machine can create a variety of finishes in cement plaster and POP
As per my knowledge, there is no such machine available, which is so simple, handy and of low cost, which should be viable to replace manual labour on small or big sites. With this machine Plastering and POP labour cost will also come down, may be to one tenth.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING
WALL & CEILING PLASTER / POP MACHINE, mainly consists of
(A)- Slider (B) - Material Feeder (C) - Movement support system (D) - Plaster / POP width and thickness gauge and adjusters (E) - Electrical control system
(A)- Slider is a wide frame in horizontal position, consisting of (a-1) Impeller-High speed rotating shaft 1 in longitudinal or transverse 7 direction to the wall with blades/fins/brushes in straight or angular direction and shape in single or multiple pieces or (a-2)- multiple compressive rotor 6,in perpendicular direction to the wall (b)-Housing 3 for the Impeller
Rotors,(c)- Cut off knife 8 in any suitable shape and material,(d)- Finishing Roller/s 2 with smooth, textured, grooved or embossed surface.
(B)- Material feeder consists of a container / Hopper 4, Spreader 5 and conveyer system 9. Material is to be fed to container/ Hopper manually or by any mechanized process, including through pipes from other location.
(C)- Movement support system consists of (e) - Vertical Movement and (f) - Horizontal movement is on wheels or tracks in any form, by manual or mechanical force. Small size machine can be moved by hand itself.
(D)- Adjusters are provided to get the desired level, width and thickness of plaster/POP. These can be operated manually or mechanically, even with the help of sensors, radio waves etc.
(E)- Electrical Switching can again be manual or automatic based on simple electronics or chip/ microcontroller based circuits.
MACHINE WORKING STEPS (Description)
i. Machine is placed in front of the wall/ceiling maintaining gap for thickness of plaster/POP required, with the help of adjusters.
ii. Wall to be done is cleaned with water and slurry.
iii. Pre mixed cement, sand, mortar or POP is fed to container/Hopper4.
iv. Conveyer 9 carries material through spreader 5 to the Impeiiers/Rotorsl.
v. Impellor/Rotorsl throw material on wall/ceiling at a high speed with centrifugal force, which cause material sticking on surface, piercing through holes and gaps, and thus material accumulates between slider and wall/ceiling.
vi. Slider is moving parallel to wall.
vii. Knife8 fixed after the Impeller/Rotorsl, cut off the excessive accumulated material on the
wall/ceiling surface, with movement of slider. viii. Single or multiple rollers on the slider, finish or make texture or any design on the plaster
done.
