COMPLETE SPECIFICATION
Water Level Controller. The following specification particularly describes
and ascertains the nature of this invention
and the manner in which it is to be performed.
The Water Level Controller invented by me controls
the level of water in overhead tanks. The
operating electronic system works on Digital Flip-
Flop Circuitry. The Printed Circuit Board has been
designed by me on Computer and conductor lay-out
and components lay-out is enclosed for your perusal.
The 'Float System designed by me is the heart of
the system, because as per the system no
wire/rod/conductor touches the water in the tank,
which causes the conductors subject to corrosion
leading to depletion of the Conductors1 and affecting
the overa11 efficiency of the system. Besides,
it causes a psychological apprehension in the mind
of the users that at any time the water tank may
get electric current and may prove to be dangerous
to 1i fe.
The 'New Float system incorporates two
nylon/plastic floats at two different levels with
the support of acrylic/Nylon roads, fitted withbrass conductors on its tops, in the over-head
water tank. When the water level goes below the
1 eve 1 of t he 1 ower 1 eve 1 f1oat, it causes the
float to move downward and, the conductor fitted
on i ts top, snaps its connection wi th another
conductor in the form of a brass plateChereinafter
called the 'plate') and set the circuitry to set
and switch-on the motor connections through the
Relay and run the Water Pump. Then the water level
starts rising in the tank till it touches the
higher levt'I fluoL tinJ raises its level to enable
conductor fitted on its top to touch the plate,
which resets the circuit and moves the relay
connections, thereby, swi tching off the Electric
Pump. Thus the water level in the tank remains
between the levels of the two floats. Two wires
from the floats and one wire from the brass plate
(hereinafter called shielded 1+2 wire) are to be
drawn to the main unit to be kept near the Electric
Motor Pump. The main unit is fitted internally,
with Wires to three pins of an output 5 pin
Philips type socket. Input 5 pin Socket already
connected to related three pins to this end of the
Shielded 1+2 wire is simply to be inserted to the
output socket of the main unit. Another, three pin
5 Amp nylon connector has been provided on the
main unit where power is to be connected and one
wire will be connected to the third point and to
the Motor. Common Neutral wire will remain connected
to the main unit as well as to the motor.
The system is quite safe and stops overflowing ofthe tank as well as water level going below a set
level. Diagram of the system is enclosed to this
application.
CLAIM:
I claim to have designed the required Printed
ci rcuit Board & invented the float system wi th
spending considerable time cost and untiring
efforts for efficient working of the system,
besides, and want a protection against some one
making use of the system unscrupulously & copying
the system and deprive me of the benefits of my
hard efforts.^ Hence, I request that a patent may
be granted to me for the said invention.
