A Wear Resistant Multilayer Fabric

Abstract: The present invention resolves the problems of prior art and provides a wear resistant cloth which has high wear resistance and exhibits sliding properties for a long period even under a higher load than before. A wear resistant multi ply woven fabric comprising a sliding woven fabric and a base woven fabric wherein: the sliding woven fabric is a woven fabric comprising a polytetrafluoroethylene fiber (A); the base woven fabric is a woven fabric which consists of a fiber (B) that exhibits a creep ratio lower than that of the polytetrafluoroethylene fiber under a load of 20% of the breaking strength in a standard state; and the sliding woven fabric and the base woven fabric are interconnected with each other by interlacing their respective warps and/or wefts with each other.
