Abstract: Weighing device for charge material fed into an electric arc furnace, which comprises a plurality of supports each comprising an upper plate, a lower plate and a weighing element in contact with and disposed between said two plates, wherein at least one of said weighing elements is a column load cell, and wherein each support comprises two connection elements perpendicular to each other, each having a tie rod connected to at least one upper terminal for connection to the upper plate and to at least one lower terminal for connection to the lower plate.
