Wheel Hoe With Triggerable Blade Splash Mechanism
Abstract: A wheel hoe with a blade splash mechanism, has a blade assembly (1) having a cutting blade (2) connected to the main frame (3) through a blade hinge pin (5); the cutting blade is spring loaded (6) and assembled with a blade splash mechanism (7). The blade splash mechanism (7) has a spring loaded cam (8) that holds and release the cutting blade in the weeding and release positions. The blade spring (6) gives the return impact stroke to remove the weeded material entangled at the cutting blade. A trigger lever (9) is assembled with the cam (8) through the trigger hinge pin (10) against a trigger spring (11) to activate the cam and release the blade from the weeding position to release position. The trigger lever is connected through a pull cable (12) and get activated by a handle lever provided in the handle assembly. The activation of the trigger lever through an electric solenoid coil (23) or an electrical actuator (25) is also provided. [Figure 4]
