Abstract: Coils are one of the main pillar for avionics. Doing proper wrapping is the most important parameter during its assembly else it may hamper its quality. This tool helps in this purpose by providing the easy way of wrapping of wires across the sides of coils as per our requirement and helps to get maximum quality output. It also saves the time of assembler.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention is concerned with the proper wrapping of wires across the coils
used across electronic and electro-mechanical industry.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Magnetic coils such as chokes and transformers are one of the main components
used in electro-mechanical industry related to flow of electromagnetic power and
conversion of various sinusoidal voltages. Proper winding is the important parameters of
coils. In conventional production methodology of electronics units, coil wounding is done
manually without help of any tool. In manual method, improper winding becomes cause
of improper output voltage. Also, observed impregnation is improper due to improper
distribution of wires. So there is need of a tool which can help in proper wrapping of the
coil so that requisite output can be obtained.
SUMMARY OF PRESENT INVENTION
Present invention is concerned with the winding tool of coils used in the different
electronics equipments.
In accordance with one aspect of the present invention is to provide the tool used
for coil wire wrapping.
In accordance with another aspect of the present invention is to provide a generic
tool for the said purpose.
In accordance with another aspect of the present invention is to provide a tool
which can increase the accuracy in distribution of wires during coil assembly.

In accordance with another aspect of the present invention is to provide a tool
which can make the assembly work easier as well as time saving also.
In accordance with another aspect of the present invention is to provide a tool
which can be used by even lesser skilled individuals.
Basically, the wire winding/wrapping tool of coils is made to facilitate the
assembly work for obtaining proper output.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Magnetic coils such as chokes and transformers are one of the main pillars used
in electro-mechanical industry related to flow of electromagnetic power and conversion
of various sinusoidal voltages. Improper routing of wires across the coil may hamper
indented purpose of coil and become the cause of failure of electronic assembly where
it is used.
To complete these purposes right wiring at the right position of right size is
crucial.
As shown in the figure of tool, it consists of two cylinders. One cylinder is tied in
the machine while another cylinder is clamped loosely at next terminal of the machine
with the concern that this cylinder can rotate at its axis. A core (at which wrapping is
required) is also placed in between both these cylinders. Wrapping wire is tied to core
through second cylinder and then second cylinder along with core start rotating at its
axis. For measuring the number of turns, one timer is placed near the machine after
estimating the timing used for one turn. As per the approximated timing, the resistance
is checked in between the turning to check whether the requisite the number of turns
has been achieved. After getting requisite value the turning operation is closed.

1. The wire wrapping tool, comprising
- A fixed cylinder with a groove & fixing nut,
- A rotating cylinder with a groove & nut &
- A suitable motorized mechanism.
2. The present invention as per claim 1, capable of wrapping coil on a base like core.
3. The present invention as per claim 1, wherein the arrangement is compact, light and easy to carry, cost effective too.
4. The present invention as per claim 1, wherein the tool can be used by less skilled personnel.
5. The present invention as per claim 1, wherein the rotation rate is variable and wrapping uniformity is maintained through out the base like core. ,TagSPECI:As per Annexure-II
