Abstract: The deaths due to cancer in 2018 only are 9.5 million, while the number of deaths due to COVID by 2021 will be 6.5 million only. Peoples have a misconception that it is complicated to cure cancer. This statement is partially correct as today; medical science has the technology to cure cancer. The earlier cancer has been detected, the more chances of saving that person increase. It is hard to detect cancer at its early stages. People generally do not go for cancer checkups within a certain period (6 months as advised by WHO). Also, the cancer checkups are costly and not much convenient. With all these conditions and a death number of approximately 10 million per year, it is vital to design a system that provides the information to the people whether they have cancer or not. This invention proposed a cost-effective wireless body area network for tumor detection using wearable technology that will use SAR (Specific Absorption Rates) value to detect cancer cells. Then by using IoT, the data will be transmitted, and then by using artificial intelligence, we will analyze the data. Then data is then sent to the doctor for analysis, and the final results will be sent to the user’s mobile. This device could help the human race to become cancer-free one day.
The shirt worn by the human (user) contains an antenna device that will radiate the
radiation, and then the radiation will be absorbed by the human body. Then the SAR Analysis is
done by a machine. The device will analyze the human body cell's SAR value. The SAR result is
sent to the nearby base station using the same antenna. Then the antenna sends data to the data
server for analysis. The data server will receive the data and then perform the segregation
process between cancer and non-cancer cells with the help of artificial intelligence. The
segregated data performed on servers using artificial intelligence will be sent to the doctor for
review. The doctor will handle the rest of the part. If the doctor finds any suspicious symptoms,
then the doctor will send a message or call the person who is suspected of cancer. A typical
report will be sent to the concerned person if everything is normal.
Description of The Invention
Wireless body area network for tumor detection using wearable antenna comprises various components as shown in figure 1:
A designed four-port MIMO antenna (102) is placed on the user’s body (101). This antenna will be provided with a power input through which we will be getting the SAR values of the human body specific to the portion wherever the antenna is placed.
The SAR analysis (103) will be performed using machines like vector network analyzers. The limit of the SAR is 1.6 W/kg in 1 gram of body tissue. If there is a tumor in that section of the body, the SAR will be high, which is how cancer can be detected.
The data will be transferred from one base station (104) to another through wireless communication.
The data will be stored in the data servers (105) online, which can be used for future reference.
After that, the data stored in the data servers (105) will be segregated using data segregation algorithms.
All the data in which the tumor is detected will be sent to the online doctors (106), who will forward the data to the user's mobile (107) with recommendations and the kind of cancer detected.
If the cancer is not detected, the data will be directly forwarded to the user's mobile (107), showing their SAR analysis.
