Woven Fabric For Airbag And Airbag

Abstract: Provided is airbag fabric using a polyamide 410. This airbag fabric can be used as a replacement for nylon 66 fabric and further as bioairbag fabric, is excellent in heat resistance, and can suppress breakage due to high-temperature gas or residues emitted from an inflator in an airbag cushion deployment test. This airbag fabric is formed from polyamide 410 fibers.

2. The woven fabric for airbag according to claim 1, wherein a sum
total of a crimp rate in a warp direction and a crimp rate in a weft direction is
7.00 to 25.0%.
10 3. The woven fabric for airbag according to claim 2, wherein a melt
fall time per total weight in a heat resistance test of allowing an iron rod heated
to 350°C to fall onto a base fabric is 7.00 to 20.0 msec/(g/m2
).
4. The woven fabric for airbag according to any one of claims 1 to
15 3, wherein a dynamic air permeability increase rate of the fabric after a
hygrothermal treatment for 408 hours under conditions with a temperature of
70°C and a humidity of 95% RH is 25% or less.
5. The woven fabric for airbag according to any one of claims 1 to
20 4, wherein a tensile strength retention rate of the fabric after a hygrothermal
treatment for 408 hours under conditions with a temperature of 70°C and a
humidity of 95% RH is 97.0% or more.
6. The woven fabric for airbag according to any one of claims 1 to
25 5, wherein a moisture content of the fabric as measured in accordance with JIS
L 1096:2010 8.10 is more than 0.5% and 2.5% or less.
WE CLAIM:
40
7. The woven fabric for airbag according to any one of claims 1 to
6, wherein the polyamide 410 fiber contains a polyamide synthesized from a
biomass-derived monomer, and a content of the polyamide synthesized from
the biomass-derived monomer is 25 wt% or more in the polyamide 410 fiber.
5
8. An airbag comprising the woven fabric for airbag of any one of
claims 1 to 7.
