Abstract: The present invention relates to wrap block which is made of anodized aluminium arc segments (110). Plurality of arc segments are interlocked and housed in between two flanges (115) to form a cylinder. The said, wrap block is held by means of a holding shaftwhich further consists of bush support (125) at both its end to provide smooth rotation of the cylinder. At the top of the block (100) there is a rubber roller (135) to press the sliver or roving against the block to have uniform contact so that the sliver or roving can easily be passed out from the rotating block. There is a provision to guide the sliver while preparing the sample to avoid its lateral movement. A rod with the bobbin will be placed above the rubber roller and the block will be rotated while preparing the roving sample. The wrap block is either hand operated or motor driven. The motor driven wrap block has pre settable length counter and manual operated wrap block has resettable counter.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to field of textile industry, more particularly to manufacturing of wrap blocks using aluminium arcs to form a cylinder.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In one of the prior art US Patent Application number US US5531063A titled "Device for forming core/wrap yarn" disclose a device for forming core/wrap yarn is provided in which a core strand and one or more wrap strands are passed from the nip of a pair of rollers to a stationary support surface which is outwardly, downwardly curved and which includes an open channel therein; wherein the core strand is passed through the channel from the nip and the wrap rovings are passed from the nip to converge upon and wrap around the core strand in the channel to form wrapped yarn; wherein the support surface may be moved from its operative position to a second position to allow a second mode of operation absent the support surface and wherein the support surface is tapered from the outer edges toward the channel.
In another prior art Europe Patent Application Number EP0375242A2 titled "Manufacture of roving" discloses a process and apparatus for the production of roving using vacuum spinning techniques. Specifically, a fibre mass, or sliver (S), is drafted through a drafting zone (14) and passed into a hollow, rotatable shaft (26), the shaft having a central through passageway (31) and a plurality of radially oriented orifices (38). The shaft (26) is mounted in a housing (24) to which a vacuum is applied as the fibre mass passes through the rotating shaft. Trailing free ends of a minor portion of the: fibres are pulled into the orifices (38) and, as the linear movement of the fibres continues, are pulled back out of the orifices and are wrapped about the remaining core fibres to form a roving.
In yet another prior art US Patent Application Number US4827582A titled "Apparatus for removing waste rovings from roving bobbins" discloses an . apparatus for removing waste rovings remaining on roving bobbins, the apparatus comprising a conveyor for transporting roving bobbins huge on hangers, the conveyor including means for effecting the temporary stoppage thereof; a moving frame and a lifting frame which are respectively equipped with upper bobbin holders and lower bobbin holders for maintaining bobbins for rotation; a flocked belt provided between the upper and lower bobbin holders in such a manner that the belt runs tangentially to the bobbins maintained by the upper and lower bobbin holders; and wherein the individual bobbin holders are spaced at intervals corresponding to those of the hangers of the conveyor.
The present invention solves the problems faced in the prior art wherein the present invention comprises of a wrap block made of anodized aluminiumwith arc segments to form a cylinder to prepare the sliver / roving samples.
OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION
1. It is an object of the present invention to provide an aluminium arc segments instead of cast iron to form a cylinder.
2. It is another object of the present invention is reduce the process time, time to manufacture and manpower utilization.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
It will be understood that this disclosure is not limited to the particular systems, and methodologies described, as there can be multiple possible embodiments of the present disclosure which are not expressly illustrated in the present disclosure. It is also to be understood that the terminology used in the description is for the purpose of describing the particular versions or embodiments only, and is not intended to limit the scope of the present disclosure.
The present invention relates to a wrap block with arc segments.
It is an aspect of the present invention to provide aluminium blocks, wherein the said blocks are plurality in numbers and are made of hard anodized aluminum arc segments interlocked and housed in between two flanges.
It is another aspect of the present invention to provide a holding shaft, wherein the saidshaft holds the said aluminium blocks and consists of two conical bush support toprovide smooth and concentric rotation.
It is yet another aspect of the present invention to provide a handle, wherein the said handle rotates the said aluminium blocks.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION:
The following detailed description illustrates by way of example and not by way of limitations
The present invention relates to wrap block with arc segments. Figure 1 illustrates a wrap block (100) made of hard anodized aluminium arc segments (110). There
are twelve or requirednumber of arc segments interlocked and housed in between two flanges (115) as illustrated in figure IB, 1C, ID and IE. The outer surface of arc segments has gripping rib profile.
Furthermore, the present invention consists of a holding shaft to hold the said block (100). Both the end of the holding shaft there is bush support (125) to have smooth rotation.
Moreover, at one end of the holding shaft there is a handle (130) to rotate the block. Number of rotation is measured through a counter with provision to reset the same.
At the top of the block (100) there is a rubber roller (135) to press the sliver or roving against the block to have uniform contact so that the sliver or roving can easily be passed out from the rotating block. There is a provision to guide the sliver while preparing the sample to avoid its lateral movement. Also a rod will be supplied to hold the roving bobbin from where the roving sample will be prepared. The rod with the bobbin will be placed above the rubber roller and the block will be rotated while preparing the roving sample.
The wrap block circumference is 1 yard, 1 meter, half yard or half meter and the block is of any size with width from 2 inches. Further, the wrap block is either hand operated or motor driven. In case the said wrap block is motor driven it is pre settable
