The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.

BACKGROUND
Field of Invention
[001] Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a watch and particularly a wristwatch configured with smart features.
Description of Related Art
[002] As we all know that the criminal activities against women/children and senior citizens are increasing day by day. According to a research, the crime rate in the country or crimes registered per lakh population went up marginally to 385.5 in 2019 from 383.5 in 2018. Further, the crime rate against the women and children has seen a rise of 7.3% and 4.5%, respectively.
[003] Many crime cases remain untraceable as the location of the crime remains unclear. Many SOS and emergency applications are known in the prior art, however, most of these are not handy or quick to access at the time of a mishappening. Also, the SOS applications are only available to smartphones. Small children and senior citizens, who usually do not have a smartphone, are unable to utilize such applications.
[004] Further, the SOS applications require a communication network such as, the Internet, to share alerts and emergency notifications. Currently, available security devices such as a wristwatch, fail in a situation of crisis if the communication network is not available. In addition to this, the present solutions do not provide other features like temperature monitoring and real-time location sharing. Most of the wristwatches only provide a snapshot of the location of a user. Furthermore, current wristwatches cannot be customized according to user requirements such as many elderly people have a low vision and a low hearing ability. The currently available wristwatches are incapable of fulfilling the purpose by ensuring the safety of senior citizens and people with a disability.
[005] There is thus a need for a wristwatch and a method that can address the limitation of the prior art in a more efficient manner.
