Abstract: A yarn conditioning system (100) is disclosed. The system (100) includes a pre-conditioning chamber (104) configured to receive a plurality of yarn packages (208) for humidification. An air humidification subsystem (106) attached to the pre-conditioning chamber (104) sucks air from the pre-conditioning chamber (104), humidifies the sucked air, and delivers the humidified air back to the pre-conditioning chamber (104), wherein the humidified air humidifies the plurality of yarn packages (208). A yarn conditioning plant (110) configured to further condition the plurality of yarn packages (208) received from the pre-conditioning chamber (104). The yarn conditioning plant (110) includes a second conveying system (118) for conveying the plurality of yarn packages from an inlet of the yarn conditioning plant to an outlet of the yarn conditioning plant (110). 1. A yarn conditioning system (100) comprising:
a pre-conditioning chamber (104) configured to receive a plurality of yarn packages (208) for humidification, the pre-conditioning chamber comprising:
a first conveying system (116) for conveying the plurality of yarn packages
(208) inside the pre-conditioning chamber; an air humidification subsystem (106) attached to the pre-conditioning chamber (104), wherein the air humidification subsystem (106) is configured to:
suck air from the pre-conditioning chamber (104) for humidification;
humidify the sucked air; and
deliver the humidified air back to the pre-conditioning chamber (104), wherein
the humidified air humidifies the plurality of yarn packages (208) being
conveyed by the first conveying system (116); a yarn conditioning plant (110) configured to further condition the plurality of yarn packages (208) received from the pre-conditioning chamber (104), the yarn conditioning plant comprising:
a second conveying system (118) for conveying the plurality of yarn packages
from an inlet of the yarn conditioning plant to an outlet of the yarn conditioning
plant (110).
2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the air humidification subsystem
(106) comprises a suction fan configured to suck air from the pre-conditioning chamber
(104) and deliver the humidified air back to the pre-conditioning chamber (104).
3. The system (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the air humidification subsystem
(106) comprises:
a humidifying screen covering a pathway of the sucked air, wherein the humidifying screen enables water to flow through the screen downwardly to facilitate humidification of the sucked air; and
a humidification unit comprising a water reservoir and an ultrasonic nebulizer immersed in the reservoir, the humidification unit configured to create water mist, wherein the water mist is dispersed with the humidified sucked air.
4. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the yarn conditioning plant (110) is further configured to provide a low-temperature saturated steam based on vapour pressure curve of steam to maintain homogeneity in humidity.
5. The system (100) as claimed in claim 4, wherein the yarn conditioning plant (110) comprises one or more sensors configured to measure humidity in the plurality of yarn packages (208) to ensure homogeneous penetration of moisture.
6. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1 further comprising an inlet conveying device (108) configured to receive the humidified yarn packages (208) from the pre-conditioning chamber (104).
7. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1 further comprising: a transfer shuttle (120) configured to transfer the humidified yarn packages from the pre-conditioning chamber (104) to the inlet conveying device (108).
8. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1 further comprising an outlet conveying device (114) configured to transfer the plurality of conditioned yarn packages (208) as output based on first in first out arrangement.
9. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the pre-conditioning chamber (104) and the yarn conditioning plant (110) comprise slideable assemblies to isolate the conditioning process from external environment.
10. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first conveying system (116) and the second conveying system (118) operate at a predetermined speed.
