"Yarn Splicing Device"

Abstract: The invention securely carries out yarn splicing. In a splicer unit 9, a yarn accommodating space 61 is formed in an approximately regular triangular shape in its transversal cross section. Further, injection ports 62a of an air injection flow path 62 are formed at positions serving as vertexes of the regular triangle in the yarn accommodating space 61, and an air injected from each of the injection ports 62a flows toward wall surfaces 61bserving as sides of the regular triangle in the yarn accommodating space 61, and collides with the wall surfaces 61b in a direction which is orthogonal to a surface direction thereof. Accordingly, a turbulent flow is generated within the yarn accommodating space 61, and yarn splicing of a plurality of connected yarns Y which are cut by a cutter and are introduced into the yarn accommodating space 61 from a suction port 61a is carried out by the turbulent flow. Further, all the wall surfaces 61b of the yarn accommodating space 61 with which the air collides are flat surfaces.
