Abstract: A spinning machine includes a spinning device, a winding device, a yarn removing member, and a catching device 24. The spinning device supplies a yarn 5. The winding device winds the yarn 5 supplied from the spinning device to form a package. The yarn removing member acts on the yarn 5 positioned between the spinning device and the winding device to change a yarn path from a first yarn path at a time of winding of the yarn 5 to a second yarn path at a position different from that of the first yarn path. The catching device 24 includes a suction port sucking and catching the yarn 5. The suction port 62 is disposed in an orientation facing the second yarn path, the orientation without facing the first yarn path.
