Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of providing a chocolate batter that exhibits an excellent flavor of sweetness and has exceptional aromas of milk and vanilla despite having a low sugar content. The abovementioned problem can be solved by a chocolate batter that has a sugar content of less than 39 mass% and contains dietary fiber, whole milk powder, cream powder, and buttermilk powder, wherein the dietary fiber is included separately from dietary fiber that is originally included in the other ingredients contained in the chocolate batter.
