Abstract: Provided are a method, an agent, etc. for enhancing the stability of a medium and enhancing the productivity of a recombinant protein. More specifically, provided are: a medium containing N-acetylcysteine and L-cysteine; a method for culturing cells using a medium containing N-acetylcysteine and L-cysteine; a method for producing a recombinant protein using a medium containing N-acetylcysteine and L-cysteine; and a method, an agent, etc. for stabilizing an L-cysteine-containing medium using N-acetylcysteine.
